Stayed Dec 31, 1969We previously stayed in The Refuge of the Imp (Lutin) in 2008, and were most impressed at the consistent standard of the accommodation. Checking in and out was efficiently organised: simply follow the instructions carefully. We would recommend this as a place to stay for a wide range of interests, including viticulture in Riquewihr and surrounds, walking to the neighbouring villages, driving into the Vosges mountains. The restaurants we went to, au Dolder and and la Grenouille, were very good with a choice of general and local dishes. Ancient Riquewihr after dark in the middle of winter is most impressive.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I can't recommend enough. Superb communication from the owners and manager, Valerie. Riquewhir is absolutely amazing and never fails to captivate. It also takes on a new life after dark. There are many surrounding villages and towns that are also worth a look. Colmar in particular has all you could ever want from a Christmas market. This accommodation has been sympathetically restored to suits it's ancient surroundings and has also been cleverly designed in order to make a small space comfortable and convenient. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return again!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I want to thank you for wonderful days in Riquewihr. The studio was beautifully restored and created a comfortable atmosphere with a great view to the green hills! Valerie welcomed us in a helpful and friendly manner. Pierrot le Fou served a delicious dinner in indescribable surroundings. We will absolutely come back - and recommend your place to our friends. Best wishes, Erla S

Stayed Dec 31, 1969As I am 5ft, with red hair and blue eyes my partner thought this an aptly named place for us to stay. We were alsolutely delighted with the studio, it had everything we needed for our self-catering stay. It was very cosy and comfortable. We were met promptly in the village and taken to the studio by Valerie who gave us a warm welcome. It was a pleasure to shop and dine in the village , but the location also meant we could easily access other towns and villages on the Wine Route, as well as the ski resort. Full marks to the owners for the design of the studio, we will certainly be returning in the near future - if we cant get this studio, we will try one of the other.
