We absolutely loved this place, good beds, great view, some issues with thé tv but no problem for is. Great to have a parking space on walking distance Good value for this price. Too bad about thé weather and thé bacteria in thé sea ? thanks Elodie you are very friendly host

We had a wonderful week here. The seaview is excellent and the appartment is well-equipped. One minor point: for people without a car a bakery and supermarket are quite far away.

We met with the owner who showed around the property which was clean and well equipped however parking is real issue. Once you find a rare free space don't move because you will not find another one without having to pay for it. This was not a problem to us on this occasion as we were happy to walk.

The view from the balcony is really great! Elodie is a very friendly person. Anyway, we had some problems that we could not solve completely. She forgot the extra bed for our daughter that we agreed with her before our arrival. We also had just two small towels (and four bath towels) for four people. On our demand, we did not get any extra towels. The biggest problem was finding a parking space. On our arrival in the afternoon, the promised car park at a distance of 50 m was completely full with lots of car drivers in front of us going in circles and looking for parking spaces... Every time we went by car during our holiday, we had to plan our return in the evening, so it was no problem finding a parking space. Going shopping by car (as there were no food shops nearby) during the day was impossible, as you would not have found a parking space afterwards. Moreover, we did not know that swimming was not allowed in the sea in Boulogne all over the summer (what we found out on the internet later). Because of pesticides in the water you should not go swimming, which might have caused stomach aches, diarrhoea and nausea (as we were told by some lifeguard on the second day). If we had known that before (in addition to the parking space problem) we would have chosen another apartment in a different town.

We spent a week in this apartment in July. It has everything you could need. The balcony is a joy and brings a wonderful sunset every evening. If you are a night bird you can also see the moon going down. There is a bus stop practically outside the door if you don’t want to walk into the centre. The beach is really clean and you just have to cross the road to get there. Boulogne is full of life with lots to do for every taste. Parking is tricky, so if you manage to get a parking place my advice is to stay there (it’s free) and walk or take a bus!

What a wonderful view from the large balcony which caught the sun from midday onwards. Elodie the owner spoke perfect English which was good for us as our French is limited. The apartment was roomy and well equipped and spotlessly clean. Bolougne itself was a lot larger than we thought. The fish market every morning was wonderful. Also there were plenty of restaurants to choose from especially le marivaux which was situated by the theatre. And an Indian restaurant which was further up the road. What a wonderful week we had staying in this apartment sometimes just admiring the view from the balcony and watching the school children learning activities on the beach. Will definitely return .
