Quaint Studio Loft in the Heart of Downtown Beaufort

I liked how close the location was to everything. It had a unique style for such a small place. What I didn't like was the air conditioner drain line dripped over the entry door real close to the door handle. We got creative on how to dodge it. And we could never get the tv to turn on. Also, parking was horrible! We followed the parking instructions that we were given but had to figure it out.

Lovely small space to stay for two. It was our second time. I wish there was a hairdryer. I didn’t bring mine. Most rentals have them now.

There was no elevator or on-site parking as listed on Expedia.

Great location and charming!

We loved the quaint antiquities. We also loved the very convenient downtown location and the very affordable price for such a location. But there are just a few areas where we thought there could be some improvements. The blackout curtains need to be adjusted so that they work properly. Ideally, the blackout curtains themselves should be hung inside the window frame, not outside. They’re also ripped. As they are, they’re insufficient. We had to close both the inside and outside curtains and then use the broom to keep them tucked against the wall in order to keep light from the nearby street lamp out at night. This is a very minor thing to fix. One of the bathroom lights was out and it might be helpful to have one additional light there so that ladies can see better to apply their makeup. One of those extendable mirror/lights fixed onto the wall beside the above and beside the sink could be easily attached. The little bars of soap seemed to be old, as they’re very brittle. A little more thickness would be great. Was there supposed to be a courtesy gift? The check in sheet seemed to suggest so and there wasn’t one. It’d be nice to be able to lock the gate in the stairs. Last of all, it’d be nice to have a small bowl of the little round containers of liquid creamer or half and half, along with perhaps a small container of artificial sweetener. A combination of Splenda and Equal would be perfect! Overall, we thoroughly loved it and would return!

Great location in Beaufort and lovely property perfect for a few days away although abit dark inside and disappointed as only 3 of 9 lights bulbs were working and shower was in upside down so only hit the back of the shower cubicle and also light didn’t work

Very nice and quiet! Great location…. Easy to walk to Great Restaurants and the Battery. Weather was perfect!

Awesome location!

Great little studio apartment. Close to Bay Street and waterfront park. Enjoyed walking around Beaufort and then returning to room to get our second wind. Great having a refrigerator and microwave to heat up any leftovers. Street noise was minimal. Definitely would stay here again!

This place is tidy, charming and clean. It is extremely convenient for all things downtown Beaufort. We walked to everything we needed and there is a little store underneath that has a variety of items including snacks, drinks and wine. It appeared they were mid renovation as the entrance door and bathroom trim were non existent - leaving it mildly unsightly. The entrance stairs could use some vegetation control, especially if someone is allergic to poison ivy. Sleeping wise the bed could use a quieter bed protector and one night the crowd on the street got rowdy throughout the night so we were awaken several time. Overall I would recommend and I would stay again - it was a cozy convenience bed/bath & kitchenette for a nice weekend down town!

A great short stay, charming quaint loft. Comfortable and in a great location.

Great little apartment right in the heart of downtown, historic district, shopping, and great food choices. There was some restaurant noise late at night, since there is an excellent restaurant/bar right across the street. We plan to book again in the future.Parking worked out well, just be aware that the designated car park area is a couple of blocks away. Not an issue for us, but some might. Also, there are steps leading up to the apartment. Again, we loved it, but for anyone with disabilities, it might be an issue.

Stay was good location great! Most of the lights were burned out or broken. Had trouble with the TV parking wasn’t bad just wasn’t clearly defined.

Great location. Liked the wine shop underneath. Walkable to coffee, drinks and food. Will be back.

Cannot say enough about this wonderful place! My husband and I love love loved it. Easy to get around to places from it. We had a boat that was at the marina, which was only a block away. We want to come back and stay again for a weekend again. Everything about this place was perfect!

Great stay great locations

I wanted to love this property. The owners have made such an effort to make a small space livable - with the right amount of quirky. I loved the walls, floor, comfy chairs and flax/linen comforter cover. Communication was really great when I had problems connecting to the internet (router and password are not accurate on VRBO listing). OK, here's the problem(s). Immediately upon entering, both my husband and I noticed the slight smell of mildew / mustiness that, unfortunately, did not dissipate for me. I was having problems dealing with it. Was it coming from the walls (no, they were sealed), the bedding (no, smelled fresh), the air conditioning or elsewhere (I don't know). 2nd, a prior renter had mentioned that the shower door did not close all the way and I had the exact same issue (it wasn't fixed) - the lower hinge had moved somehow and my husband had to really crank on the door to get it closed - I thought it was going to break. I had to have him let me out of the shower. Things are just a bit unfinished - bare wood on countertop and kitchen cupboard. The silverware was dirty and I didn't have any confidence that any of the dishes or silverware were clean. It didn't help that the silverware was stored in a rusted tin container. Sure, I appreciated the rustic touches, but NOT when it comes to eating utensils. Unfortunately, it was just a bit TOO rustic for me.

Was a perfect stay!

Clean, well decorated and close to everthing. Shopping and restaurants just steps away. Will stay here again!!

Perfect spot to enjoy everything beautiful Beaufort SC has to offer, park and forget about driving, everything you need is within walking distance.

I could not get shower door closed. Needs repair. A new mattress would make the stay much more pleasant! We have stayed here several times. Love this little loft apt. Great location.
