Stayed Jan 22, 2025Unit is a single and great for a few days in park city. Has parking, working stove (I didn't cook), plates, utensils, etc which were very convenient.Restaurants within walking distance. Restroom has a sliding farm door without a lock. Not an issue for us but if you have small kids, you may want to have that in mind.Fireplace worked great, you just need to learn to find the right setting to make it comfortable.Overall it was quiet in the building during our stay. Will look for this unit in future visits to park city.

Stayed Feb 9, 2023We did not have an enjoyable stay at Unit 917 at the Prospector. If you stay there, ask if they have had the heater repaired. When we stayed the fire place/ heater would not respond to the remote. It was roasting hot all night and could not be turned off or turned down. We had to open the sliding glass door an inch to relieve the heat. The room alternated between freezing cold and burning hot all night. I notified the management of the issue the following morning (Friday 2/10/23). They said they could not get a repairman there until Tuesday. They gave me instructions on how to turn off the fireplace using switches under the grill. I had a choice, either boiling hot or no heat at all. I asked for more blankets in case it was very cold with the heat off. They said they didn't have any and that I could buy some blankets and they would ask the owner of the unit if they could reimburse me. I couldn't believe they thought that was a reasonable response to my issue. After I said I wanted half my money returned, they showed up with 2 blankets. The owner called and spoke to my husband. A repairman came to look at the heater but couldn't get it to work. I don't know if they got it repaired at all, so before you stay, ask management if this issue has been resolved. On other issues... We used the sofa bed as we had 3 guests. There was a very large chair which does not fit in the room with the sofa bed open. I requested that they remove the chair and they did the following morning. Management should move this chair automatically if the sofa bed will be used as it blocks egress from the bed to the bathroom and exit, or it blocks the kitchen. The unit has a stove range and dishes and pots, but no way to drain the dishes or dry them after washing. No kitchen towels or draining mat, or dish drainer. The pots are in rough shape, but work. The coffee maker worked well and they had coffee in the cupboard which we appreciated. The location is okay. It is close to a city bus stop. Too far from town to walk. The Prospector HOA needs to make sure each television in each unit is named by the room number. At 6:00am on Sunday 2/12/2023, our TV turned on while we were all sleeping. The screen changed a few times and finally said, Air TV code. My son figured out that a guest in another room was probably trying to connect to her TV through her phone and selected the wrong TV, turning on our TV while we were sleeping. We had 3 nights of very difficult sleep.

Stayed Aug 27, 2022We enjoyed the location and the updates that were made to the rental. We also loved how quiet and peaceful the area was. The patio has a few trees that surround it for privacy which we appreciated. The cons were there was an off putting musty smell to the place and the rain shower was half broken.

Stayed Aug 10, 2022This property was just right for the 2 of us. We loved being so close to the rail trail and within a short walk of many nice restaurants and City Park. The landscaping is lovely, and the value was excellent. What marred our stay was the remodeling going in the unit next door. One night the pounding and drilling kept waking me up until I finally went next door and told them to quit. That was 11:45 pm! The noise started again the next morning just before 7:00 am. That's a huge mismanagement issue in my mind - very thoughtless toward whatever guests were in proximity to the remodel. I would have said I would definitely stay in the unit again. It was just right. But now I really don't trust the property management.

Stayed Feb 6, 2022The condo was great. Bed was even better!! Would definitely stay there again. Only minus was it too quiet some time to find the check-in location. Maybe better signage? That being said, a lot of people staying in the condos seemed a bit “lost” as to the check-in location.

Stayed Feb 8, 2022The room is beautiful. Very newly renovated and decorated beautiful. We went with a family of four. It worked but it was small for a family. Overall we had a good experience. Bus picks up right outside the location. There is no oven just stove top. We made it work but we usually cook in room on ski trips. There is no dishwasher which we would have liked to see. Very tiny refrigerator. The bathroom was very nice but the fan in bathroom doesn’t work and when I dried my hair it would set off the smoke detector in the room lol. The big shower head didn’t work well. The kitchen faucet was on backwards and didn’t spray well. I didn’t really like only being able to text with questions there is no number to call. There was open communication it just took a long time in between to get questions answered. To check in you have to check in at the front lobby and the room is on the very back side of the location. Because we didn’t have a car it was very difficult to get from the lobby to the room with all of our bags. Over all we had a great experience. This room would probably work better with those who don’t want to cook or without families.

Stayed Feb 3, 2022This stay was very cozy and the perfect location for our ski trip! The fireplace was great! Location the best! Minutes away from park city mountain and Main Street. Everything that we needed was already in the apartment so it made the stay that much easier. Thank you for making part of our trip a wonderful experience!
