Charming terrace apartment in a lovely, quiet part of Lynchburg. Sally went out of her way to make everything easy -- she's super thoughtful and responsive. A warm, homey and comfortable place in a great location!
Very clean. Very helpful and quiet time.
Second time we’ve been here while visiting our son at Liberty. Second time, just as fine. Great accommodations, great hosts, great experience. Patio outside the front door overlooks a wooded lot. Good for drinking coffee and watching the deer wander by. Easy 15 minute drive to Liberty. Worth the extra driving to avoid the over-priced hotels and the expense of eating 3 meals in restaurants every day.
Wonderful apartment, felt like home. Sally is a sweet hostess and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay comfortable. Loved the outdoor area. Lots of trees and shade. Very relaxing. Enjoyed our stay so much. Thank you Sally!
This basement apartment is a hidden gem in Lynchburg. It is cozy and has everything you need for your stay.
We loved our stay! The owners where are most kind! They left us fresh flowers and a note, and even coffee and creamer! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and cozy. Our family absolutely loved being there! Thank you for offering us a lovely stay at your place!
Plenty of room for the three of us. Everything you need in a home away from home.Nice, quiet neighborhood but close to shopping .We felt like we had been there before.Would reccommend to others.
Nice little hideaway in the city. Small basement apartment (separate entrance) that overlooks a wooded ravine. Nice neighborhood, very close to grocery store & restaurants. 20-minute drive to Liberty university, but it's an easy drive with minimal traffic lights or stop signs. Very comfortable living room with a large picture window. TV service is fine - Comcast cable. Nice sitting chairs by the window. Kitchen is small - small frig but large enough for us to put some milk, fruit, and pop cans. Tiny freezer. Small stove, microwave (looked very old), sink, etc. Decent-sized bathroom. Tub/shower combination. They have a suction-cup hand-hold for climbing in and out of the tub if you have mobility issues. Also regarding mobility - no steps anywhere in the apartment. There is a sidewalk down to the apartment entrance so you can avoid steps entirely. Master bedroom is comfortable. Mattress is on the firm size, which I loved! Didn't use the second bedroom, which has 2 twin beds. Owners were not home when we visited, so I can't speak to any noise issues. But the neighborhood is very quiet - no traffic at all. Sally was very welcoming and extremely helpful to us. The last couple of VRBO places we stayed were not great experiences, but Sally was fantastic - maybe the most responsive VRBO owner we've encountered! And Steve, the next door neighbor who was filling in for Sally and her husband was very hospitable. We're looking forward to returning this spring. Fully recommend this location.
Sally and Ed were a true joy! They were very hospitable and welcoming. The space was quaint, warm and welcoming. Beautiful view from the terrace overlooking trees and wildlife.
Thank you so much. We will certainly be back.
