Pool studio at the Abode Guest House

Loved how the whole building centers around the pool and sitting/living area that gives a private and secure atmosphere to be in without looking over at or hearing neighbors through a fence. The rooms were clean an spacious. The owners were VERY responsive and easy to be in contact about any questions or change to accomodations. When I come back to Bay St Louis this will be the place that I check on and book my stay.

The place exceeded our expectations and the listing doesn’t do it justice. We hope to be back soon!

Great location, setting and overall experience for a weekend away.

I kick myself for waiting to book this as I could have saved some money by booking further in advance - so, if you see a deal that can't be beat, it probably is, so don't wait like I did. There is only one caveat, it does struggle to stay cool inside specifically during the peak of summer day, But, nights stayed cool especially if fan stayed on, and my spouse slept like a baby, which is good. Just spouse and I on early anniversary vacation, no plans except visit some local family, so for 5 days we lived the beach life and the Abode played a big part in that. The location is fantastic, it really is a short walk away from almost everything that's key, after the first day we walked alot, or you can rent a golf cart. SBL is a great little town, we're glad to have come and were able to visit local sites. The owner and host are awesome, a great team and resolved any issues we had extremely fast. My only complaint is not with these folks, but with VRBO and their sub-par app. The hosts reached out before we arrived and the app really doesn't notify you or text you, just email. But check-in, and check-out were a breeze, and the hosts book is very handy. They provided some coffee, water, even some snacks, extra towels, very thoughtful. Oh, and this place is just soo cool. The studio and pool are pretty awesome, and just has a charm to it that can't be beat. We wouldn't mind seeing the larger attached units. The pool would be perfect if we had our grandchildren. We would stay again

Our stay was enjoyable as we were in Bay St Louis for a 65th birthday party close to this VRBO. The king bed was very comfortable and the large shower was great. This VRBO is inside a large patio that has a pool and tables setup for groups. We were sent the codes for the Patio door and our Studio room a couple of hours before check in, which was 3pm. The host, Vanessa, kept in touch with us throughout our stay checking to see if we needed anything or had any questions.

This was the best place I’ve ever stayed. The hospitality was by far the best. I will be staying there again
