    Great size and location. Attention to cleaning required, lots of dust and filters from washing machine extremely unclean.

    We loved this property. Yes, it’s an older style place, but it was large with a well appointed kitchen, two large bedrooms and a huge deck with knockout views of catseye beach. Has one of the most beautiful private pool and BBQ areas on the Island and the buggy is an added bonus. It’s located right between the marina and catseye beach so location is excellent.

    Picture of room advertised did not match what was found. Rubbish bin full and not emptied before arrival. Two beach towels were stained. One wet smelly beach towel found in cupboard of main bedroom. Rubbish left in beside drawers of main bedroom. BBQ area not clean. Towel rack in shower fell off wall. Screen door mesh torn and lock barrel missing. Screen door handles both sides fell out of door. Air conditioning unit in lounge area dripping water. Buggy right indicator not working. Only one headlight working on buggy. Mud guard of wheel arch of rear right wheel fell off. Thursday 21 Apr 2022 had no transport because buggy moved from parking spot to one end of property without our knowledge. Late check out that was requested and arranged but not communicated to cleaning staff on departure date and we left earlier than agreed time.

    Enjoyed our stay however the apartment needs modernisation and layout is strange. A second bathroom would be great and updated furniture is needed. Views are great and and apartments is spacious if the owner updated the apartment it would make it an ideal stay on the island. Also the pool on the property needs to be resurfaced.

    We had a great stay at Poinciana, and being at the top of the hill between the Marina and Reef Complex (pool/coffee) meant we could walk to either or take the buggar that came with the unitwas a bonus. the bed was very comfortable

    Unit was untidy, smelt musky and mouldy, air con leaked, appliances were outdated eg. Clothes dryer, stove top, washing machine all need replacing. BBQ was no good at all - rusted through. Bedding was old and not fresh, bath towels had holes in them, blankets felt unclean, no outdoor table setting, out furniture was cheap n nasty, lounge and cushions felt unclean n dirty, screen door was broken and there were ants everywhere. We are not happy with this property and won't be staying here again for the money we paid.
