Stayed Sep 20, 2019Well appointed, comfortable, lovely hosts on site. If you want to enjoy the Tuscan countryside, the view of the olive groves and the vineyards, this is a great place. Refreshing pool for those warm days as well. The ultimate relaxation vacation.

Stayed Aug 30, 2018The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. The gardens and pool were well tended with lots of beautiful rose bushes. The location is nice for exploring Certaldo and San Gimignano. The host, Mario was very hospitable and charming to speak with. He told us a lot about the history of the area, which we enjoyed.

Stayed Jul 27, 2018We loved staying here - the apartment is wonderfully equipped and relatively cool after the heat of the day. The pool is wonderful and the views are spectacular. The property is well situated for easy access to many of the attractions of Tuscany and we could have stayed there for very much longer. The garden is restful, mature and peaceful. Stayed May 10, 2018Mario, Annalinda and Valentina are the very best of host. From Podere San Luigi we took day trips to Seina, Volterra, Montipulciano and Florence. At the end of each day we took the most important trip back to what easily became, Home. Waking at dawn and watching the sunrise over the valley was like gazing into Heaven. The sounds of nature are abundant and peaceful, only disturbed by the occasional bark of the family dog as he announced a passer by. Having a vehicle is a must, it gives you the freedom to come and go as you please. My advice to anyone planning a trip to Tuscany is to avoid the tour packages that limit your time and steer you to the tourist traps. Get out on your own and explore the riches of Tuscany. And by all means book your stay at Podere San Luigi.
