The Neighborhood:

Compared to other areas in Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach is less developed and generally quieter, offering a more hushed atmosphere. During the bustling summer season, the distinction might be less noticeable. Nonetheless, you're still conveniently close to the beach, and Main Street, featuring many shopping, entertainment, and dining options is merely a few minutes' drive from your location. Getting Around:

While we strongly advise renting a car for transportation, alternative options like taxis and Ubers are available.



***Take Hwy for easy access from every direction to the beach and all main attractions.***

Parking at the beach: Between March 1 – October 1, 2022 a daily parking fee of $2 per hour will be in place from 9 a.m.- 5.pm. in public parking lots on either side of Ocean Boulevard. You can download the Passport Parking app and pay directly from your phone.

    I normally do not leave reviews, but I am compelled to do so here. There was a recent review from a young lady and I should have heeded her warning. Everything she stated was true in regards to the cleanliness. My issues were that in addition to the old mattress in the solo queen room. Me and my wife woke up with intense back pain. The mattress was eventually replaced after a day and the maintenance man saying the springs were shot, but we had to endure 2 nights of uncomfortable sleep. Here is the kicker and if you are expecting to be able to do any kind of work or any kind of streaming understand that the wifi is damn near unusable. There is an access point in the unit, but they will ask you to connect to the one that is in another. They knew the wifi was an issue in this unit, but instead of fixing tried unsuccessfully to provide a band-aid. We could connect to one of the access points they suggested we try. While we could connect we would drop ever so often and trying to watch anything on tv was frustrating and you can forget trying to attend any meetings via video chat. These wifi issues were never addressed and we went the entire week without usable wifi. Because of these issues we asked for a partial refund. Not a full or half, but a simple gesture acknowledging the issues we had. They declined. Stay here at your own risk. Yes the location is good and is very close to the beach, but be prepared for the issues already stated.

    The listing that was listed said “condo” this was not a condo by far. The walls on the inside were brick painted white throughout. It looked like at one time it was a drive in garage in the basement. Converted in this rental. The floors were as in mopped, dirty. There were no personal touches as in cheap toilet paper, paper towels, the sheets on the beds were very thin. It was a lot for the amount of money we paid. I’ve cleaned rentals, they were very clean when I left. I always check when I go into one to see how clean it is and the personal touch they have or the just rent it out look. I feel that’s what it was just rent it out.

    Incredible location! We could go back and forth to the beach and the property during the day very easily! Close to many great restaurants! The WiFi was very spotty and extremely slow for downloading music and books to take to the beach, and for searching restaurants/things to do. The price was really reasonable-especially due to how close it was to the beach! Improving bed pillows and linens would be a good idea to increase comfort. Highly recommend!

    We stayed for a weekend for a race. We enjoyed the location as well as the amenities is the space. The host was great with staying in communication. The space was clean but it is older. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I would come back!

    My partner and I stayed here with our dog for a quick new years getaway! The condo unit was perfect for a short stay. It was a quick 3 minute walk to the beach and just a short drive to any stores or restaurants. Emily was always quick to answer a message as well! Was a wonderful stay!

    This apartment meets all the basic needs in a great location just steps from beach access. While dog friendly, it’s very clean! The host is easy to communicate with. I’d definitely stay in one of her properties again for a quick and budget friendly getaway. The only caveat is I’d have loved to see the property floor plan when I booked so I was better able to choose the apartment we would have liked best.

    The best aspects of this apartment are its location and value for money. However, the apartment itself is a bit dark and not well maintained, with dirty walls and peeling paint. We were initially concerned about noise from the upstairs visitors, but we were assured it wouldn't be a problem. Despite this, be prepared for some noise from footsteps, particularly at night and in the mornings. Overall, though, it served our purpose well, being close to the beach in a quiet neighborhood

    About a block and a half from the beach. Directly across from a public access area. 3/4 of a mile from Ocean Drive downtown. Very pet friendly, but no closed in area for the dogs. Backstreets are good for walking the dogs and a very quiet neighborhood. Small living room area and only one mirror in the whole Place that was a negative as far as my wife getting ready For the evening.
