Perfect getaway! Riverside pool, river access, 5 min from Healdsburg square!

Carina, the host, was extraordinarily responsive, helpful and welcoming. I had to ask text several questions during our first day there. She patiently and cheerfully answered each text immediately. The house was charming, clean and comfortable. The property was gorgeous a lovely green lawn (rare for a riverfront home) with direct access to the river itself.

Great visit, we loved the outdoor space and playing shuffleboard! Felt secluded but so close to town. We went for morning runs into town for breakfast and it was perfect!

We had a fantastic stay right on the Russian River with 4 adults and 2 teenagers. The rental was fully stocked with river gear (kayaks, paddleboards and canoes) with easy river access. The pool and shuffleboard court were enjoyed. Birdwatchers will appreciate the variety of birds around the property. We even saw river otters while out kayaking. Even though the owner lives just above the rental, it still felt very private and peaceful. A great mix of nature, comfort, and fun.

The house and host are both amazing. The river views are exceptional and the outdoor space was great for lounging and watching the local wildlife. Carina provided everything we needed to kayak and paddle board on the river, excellent suggestions for things to do in the area, and was a wonderfully gracious and helpful host. Our kids (7 and 14) loved it and we would all gladly stay again.

We had a delightful stay! The cabin is rustic and cozy, and the views of the river and wildlife were stunning! Carina was a fabulous host and ensured we had everything we needed. We were a quick drive to the square in Healdsburg, but the setting itself made it feel like we were miles away. This place is a hidden gem and we will definitely stay again.

I never leave reviews. But Carina really did go above and beyond to make sure we had a special trip. She took time out of her weekend to go over how we could take advantage of every kind of kayak, paddle board, intertube she made available. Nevermind offering up use of a ping pong table, bocce, croquet and even a shaved ice maker for the kids. Having that kind of river access and being able to walk to town was perfect for us. We could certainly see ourselves returning.

Carina’s house was wonderful for a weekend getaway to wine country.

We had a wonderful 1-week stay at this charming river cabin. The inside is comfortable and well-equipped, with a spacious bathroom, very comfortable beds,and beautiful woodwork throughout. Outdoors you’ll find plenty of seating and lounging areas, a long pool (great for swimming laps!), natural-looking landscaping and beautiful views of the river. The kitchen has many glasses, mugs, dishes, etc., but it is small so don’t plan to do much cooking here. The owner may provide optional access to additional kitchen space. The location just on the edge of town is very convenient. We loved our stay here and plan to return soon!

This is a gorgeous property and the owner lives above. It felt as though me and my friends were the only people on the property. The beauty of this property made our stay extremely comfortable!!! The only draw back is that there is only a kitchenette. If the owner would add a small stove she could command more and it would complete this property!

Great property, beautiful location on the river.

The property was gorgeous and as described! We saw lots of wildlife, the backyard is incredibly peaceful, and we were so close to downtown Healdsburg for easy access to great food and wine. The best part was how kind and communicative the host, Carina, was. We will definitely be back!

The house has a great view of the Russian River. We saw plenty of birds and a family of otters. The beds were comfortable. Kitchenette is limited but met our needs. Good location. Would definitely stay here again.

We couldn’t get over how amazing the backyard was. The view of the river and hills, so much wildlife, it was really everything you’d hope from the pictures. And it has lots of seating and a great pool, so we were out there for hours a day. We surprised ourselves by not even making it into the river during our stay, but we’re definitely hoping to go back, and that will be top of our list! The inside had the basics. I would note that the kitchenette is very limited, but in retrospect I can see it’s very accurately described in the listing, and it’s on me for not reading it carefully enough. I’ll also share our temperature observations, since other reviewers emphasized the lack of AC: we were up there for two 100+F days, and the lack of AC was no problem for us. Granted, we were on day trips or in the pool at the hottest times of day, but by evening it was perfectly comfortable indoors with the fans (and we are San Franciscans with a very low tolerance for heat! ?) We had the property to ourselves during our stay. I’m not sure who (usually? sometimes?) occupies the upstairs unit, but if they use the backyard too, that may affect the vibe. Lastly, the host was very communicative and responsive, and gave us some great suggestions for local events during our stay! All in all an amazing getaway, and we really would love to go back in the future!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Healdsburg! Just a few minutes from downtown yet felt so removed overlooking the Russian river, which was so peaceful. We were able to walk down to the river and walk in the water, which was super fun! The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The shower had great water pressure and overall we had a great experience! I would highly recommend.
