Stayed Jan 1, 1The house was excellent, it was clean, warm and finished to a high standard. The host left lots of miscellanious items for our use. Five of us were hiking for the weekend and we were pleased there was enough hot water for all five of us to shower after our hike. The location was ideal for pubs, restaurants and shops. We will stay here again.

Stayed Jan 3, 1Comfortable, clean, spacious and well-equipped holiday cottage with a homely but modern feel. Having 3 toilets and a washing machine & drying rack was a great bonus for our family of 5, as was having a smart TV, espresso maker and decent amount of kitchen store cupboard essentials. Brilliant location on a quiet street but still very close to the centre of Westport - a 2 minute walk down the hill brings you to an excellent supermarket and the first of many wonderful pubs in the town (try and catch the marvellous After 8s at Matt Molloy's on Tuesday nights). A friendly neighbour pointed out the free parking zone just to the right of the gate opposite the property. Lots of outdoor activities in the area such as bike hire along the Greenway cycle route, climbing Croagh Patrick, the lovely Clew Bay cruise, and surfing at the glorious Carrownisky beach.

Stayed Jan 3, 1When we walked into the Stone House, we were overwhelmed. It really is a gem of a place. Location is fantastic. So much love and care has been put in to the cottage. Perfect for families and dogs. We had our two doggies. It’s so well equipped to withstand the busyness that comes when travelling with a family. We didn’t want to leave! The children loved the comfort. It was just the most perfect place to come home to after a busy day sight seeing. We will definitely return.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Had a lovely stay at the house. Very close to everything. If walking from the town it's on a steep hill.. so just be warned. Near beautiful restaurants, coffee houses, shops. Supervalu is less than 5 mins walk away. Would highly recommend
