Vistas Palmeras de Mojon is a penthouse garden apartment in Mojon Hills, Isla Plana, Cartagena, Murcia, Spain - A beautiful picturesque Spanish location on the Costa Calida (warm coast), close to the communal pool, mountain scenery and stunning sea views .

This superbly modern penthouse apartment, on the pretty resort of Mojon Hills, has astounding sea views, and has been tastefully and luxuriously furnished to make your holiday in Isla Plana just a little bit special!

The apartment is on the upper level, accessed by a wide central walkway and stairs, and has unbroken views over the Mediterranean.

The apartment has a garden which has been laid with colourful planting and has artificial grass, making it a family friendly place to stay. A wooden pergola offers shade and a chance to sit out of the sun in the peak summer months. For the more energetic, a full sized table tennis table is available, so that kids ( and big kids!) have plenty to occupy themselves in the fresh air.

The apartment also has a large terrace with unbroken sea views from La Azohía to Peurto de Mazarrón and marina. There is a large patio set for up to 6 people, allowing guests to enjoy dining and entertaining outside. There is a fitted awning cover and comfortable sunbeds to soak up the Spanish sunshine.

The accommodation comprises: Main security door leading into an extended and enlarged open plan living and dining area. The living area has comfortable seating, sofabed, wall mounted flat screen Smart TV and plenty of space to lounge away the hours. Free Wi-Fi is provided for your convenience, and there is also a Bluetooth enabled CD / radio player available for music lovers using iPod or Android devices.

The dining area seats 4 in comfort and here the patio windows have views over the terraces and the sparkling sea beyond.

The galley kitchen has all white goods and small appliances fitted for a self catering break, including oven and hob, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher,kettle, toaster, coffee machine and electric juicer. There is a second access door from the kitchen onto the large terrace.

The shower room has an extra wide shower cubicle, WC and basin. A hairdryer is also provided.

The master bedroom has a king size bed with memory foam mattress, wall mounted flat screen Smart TV, fitted wardrobes and patio windows onto the terrace. The second bedroom is a twin room, also with memory foam mattress and fitted wardrobes, making the apartment ideal family accommodation. The sofa bed in the living area provides an additional double bed.

There is aircon throughout the apartment which runs on a card meter system and 10 euros credit is included per booking. More cards are available on arrival from the local resort rep if needed.

In addition the apartment has an allocated parking space in the underground car park.

The beaches of Isla Plana are a 10 minute walk away from the complex, and a larger selection of beaches are to found in La Azohia, Puerto de Mazarrón, Bahia and Bolnuevo. Many are blue flag beaches meeting European quality standards.

The property is also registered with Murcia Tourist board under licence number VV.MU.096.16.

    We have just spent our second consecutive 10-week winter holiday at this excellent apartment and we have already booked for next year! The apartment is extremely well equipped with a large south-facing terrace giving an outstanding view of the sea. The website pictures accurately depict this apartment. Local amenities include a small supermarket, bakery, fishmongers, chemist, several smaller shops and a number of restaurants. A greater variety of larger shops and restaurants are available in nearby Puerto de Mazarron.

    After visiting this apartment in May, and having a lovely comfortable week, we decided to return in October for another 8 nights. We have enjoyed it even more. Total relaxation, great apartment, wonderful views, two beaches close by, everything you could need. We will be back!

    Just back from another great stay at this beautiful apartment. This time we ate at Le Medusa Chula a few times and can highly recommend the Paella, very reasonably priced too at €8 per person. The complex itself was busier this year which was nice and there are now a few pool loungers which is great, we usually managed to get one no matter what time we went for a dip. We will be back soon!

    We loved our stay in Isla Plana. We know the area well, but this apartment topped everywhere we have stayed so far. We spent hours just looking at the views which are amazing, sitting on the terrace with a glass or two! The beaches were only a short walk away and we visited them often. We felt the apartment had been furnished to a high standard. The bed especially was very comfortable and the shower was superb. We loved it all. It was great for the two of us and when our two children were small it would have been wonderful. An Excellent holiday on every level. The steps can be a challenge especially with shopping, but it kept us fit! We will be back!

    Spent a long weekend relaxing at this wonderful apartment. Views are fantastic and perfect for the first cup of tea in the morning sunshine and great views of the bay, including a surprised cruise past by Yacht A, which was amazing. Apartment was very clean and tidy and everything beautifully presented and all in working order and great condition. The charming garden is a great bonus for this apartment. The local village is a 10 minute walk away with everything needed to cater at home. You probably want to use the car for a big shop or taxi back which is easy to do. The lovely social club with its seating area next to the bay and quaint church is very relaxing and great value beer, spirits, wine and tapas. The best place to chill and unwind.

    Our 10-week stay in this apartment at Isla Plan was great. The south-facing apartment is comfortable, very well appointed (including UK TV) with a fantastic view over the bay. The local area has convenience stores and restaurants and the nearby town of Puerto de Mazarron has large supermarkets and a greater variety of restaurants and other shops. There is an underground car park with a dedicated parking slot. The only downside for the infirm or those with young children is the number of steps to reach the apartment (96 steps from the roadway and 39 from the garage level). That said, my wife had a total knee replacement 4-months before our holiday and she managed the stairs easily.

    Stayed for 13 nights between touring in France and Spain. The apartment is beautiful, clean and modern. The sea view is wonderful. There is a good underground car park from which the number of steps to the apartment is much reduced. Particularly useful after a shopping trip! The climb is a bit of a workout. Enjoyed playing table tennis in the spacious and fairly private garden. Used the Isla Plana beach several times. Sandy in parts and a little gritty in other parts, but good enough for relaxing, swimming and games. A couple of beach bars / cafes along the area where we settled. The September weather was great, generally 28 to 30 degrees C with all day sunshine. Good swimming pool, particularly if you are a cat lover (perhaps it was on holiday as the same time as us!) Some great sunrises over the hills. Mostly very peaceful, which we loved. For English (and other) newspapers go to first shop on the right on coast road into the village. Local property contact and her husband very helpful with some wifi / tv issues and general advice. Only visited restaurants twice in Isla Plana. The nearest was was Restaurante Montemar on the way to the village. It was OK and a pleasant experience. An English chef had recently joined the restaurant and is planning to raise the standard there. We wish him well. The other restaurant was the more upmarket Del Casa Nono which is through the village and out on the other side. This too was OK and pleasant. For food and drink shopping we tried a few places including Carrefour in Cartegena, but settled for Lidl in Mazarron, less than 20 minutes away. Our favourite place was the terrace of the apartment. Leisurely breakfasts and evening meals, often using the barbecue, enjoying the great weather and views - what a place! We loved our stay in Keith's apartment and would definitely stay again.

    Had the most amazing holiday here. The apartment is beautiful, well equipped and very well thought out. The views from the balcony are simply the best we've ever had on holiday, and are just stunning. 10-15 minute stroll to the centre of Isla Plana & a cerveza or two at the Social Club. The onsite rep was amazing & couldn't do enough for us. Thank you we will be back!

    We have now visited this apartment twice over the past two years and have always had a very warm and welcomed stay. The apartment is modern and well maintained which provides stunning views across the whole Costa Calida. Local amminities and beaches are only a 10 minute walk away and communal pool is in great condition with access to a table tennis table. The apartment has free wifi, Bluetooth stereo and all English TV channels. Within the village there are some good restuarants and social club/bar open till late all with a good atmosphere. The main town, Puerto de Mazarron, is a 10min drive or taxi and provides many more bars, restaurants and shops. The city of Cartagena is also a must see.
