Stayed Nov 9, 2025The property was a great size for our family and had everything we needed. It was close to supermarkets and very easy to get to. The decor was great and it was clean and tidy. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Stayed Aug 1, 2025Spacious, clean, comfortable apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Nice bathroom showers. Quiet neighborhood, a short walk from the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens. The Luxembourg/Senat stop on the RER-B train made travel to/from CDG very convenient. My only complaint is that the 3 portable AC units were not very effective. They don't vent the heat outdoors, so they just move heat from one room to another. Fortunately, we had moderate temperatures and were comfortable with the fans and open windows during our August stay. The owner is good with communication.

Stayed Jul 12, 2025It was fantastic! The location was perfect. Before we got in, we realized we had a struggling stay in London due to the heat wave. We asked for three plug-in AC units and they complied. We were able to sleep very well in the middle of a Parisian heat wave. The home is long and narrow. That was a little odd, but it’s a cute place and our family of six did very well!

Stayed Jun 27, 2024Cons: The property is showing some wear, peeling wallpaper, bathroom sinks dont drain well. Confusing check-in process like others - you receive an email from a random address that doesnt mention VRBO, Paris, or your booking # and have to submit info here. We also experienced a massive construction project going on right outside the unit when we visited. Jackhammers, cranes, backhoes etc. Made sleep tough and work impossible even inside unit. We contacted the owners for a partial credit so we could find another accommodation, but were declined. Not the Quiet Parisian experience described in the listing Pros: The property is in a good location, close to good restaurants and public transit. The property was cleaned well, with plenty of towels and dishes. Fans in every room were appreciated as it was hot when we visited. I would stay elsewhere - there are plenty of other options in Paris where you can have a much better experience for the same or less $.

Stayed May 21, 2024We had a family of 6 and this was a perfect spot. In a safe part of Paris close to metro and RER lines as well as next to the beautiful Luxembourg gardens. It was so refreshing to have a great place to sleep after wearing ourselves out each day. Was really nice having a washer and dryer so we didn't have to pack as many clothes. Would highly recommend for any family or multiple couples to stay and enjoy the beauty of Paris.

Stayed Dec 6, 2023Upon our arrival, we could not operate the lock at the front door. I put in a help request on as directed in our information email and and received a call within 5 minutes. It took just a couple more minutes for the host to give me the code for the key box and then we were in. Amazing service! We were 3 adults and stayed for 7 nights. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood. Restaurants and groceries were nearby. Probably the best dinner of our trip was at a place 2 blocks away. The apartment is a newish 1 story building between two apartment buildings, somehow next to a parking or service court. So there was noise through the night from people using the stairs and vehicles using the court. Bring ear plugs. Also, the unit is a long hall. You enter to a living room, then there are 3 bedrooms, then 2 very tiny toilet rooms, then the kitchen (dining table is in the living room), then the bathroom/laundry (no toilet) with a vanity, a shower and a separate bathtub which also had a shower. Also be aware there are small steps along the hallway. The place was very clean and well provided with radiators making it easy to heat every room. Lastly, the RER/Metro station was about 2 blocks away.

Stayed Jun 2, 2023My mother, husband and two children (5 and 1)stayed at this rental. The beds are not very comfortable and there was no AC or fans. When we checked in, I had to request the instructions as they were not sent via email. Getting in and out of the house was easy. But when we checked in, the front furnace was on and was probably on for days. The unit was accessible to my children and the 1 year old ended up burning his hand. I called them emergency number and after 30 mins of trouble shooting we were able to shut off the main breaker but it also shut off the internet and tv. They were going to send fans to help with the hear but they did not show up until our check out day and there was no communication from the property about why the fans were not sent. Also. Be prepared, the kitchen and bathroom are a very long walk down the hallway to access. There is also a stairway access and courtyard that leads to other units making this a very noisy stay. The neighbors or other guests were loud at night and in the am and you can hear the footsteps of those using the stairways. Beds and pillows are not very comfortable. I was weary to book this as there were no reviews. I can only imagine it’s because the owner blocks them or no one was compelled to leave a nice review. On our last day, I asked for a late check out to accommodate our flight delay. They let us leave our luggage. We were told we could not eat. It was also the day of a protest so it was impossible to

Stayed Apr 14, 2023If I could leave more than 5 stars, I would! Three of us - my elderly mum, adult daughter and I - stayed in the apartment for one whole fantastic month in Paris. I was a bit nervous booking for so long, and booking from another planet (Australia). Communication with the owners was easy and straightforward though. They were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The apartment is all ground floor with its own direct entry from the street. It was a great arrangement for my mum who has trouble with ageing joints these days. We each had a good sized room to ourselves so we avoided fisticuffs. The apartment feels spacious and is light with windows that open and skylights in the bathroom. There are electric heaters throughout. It is tastefully decorated with enough quirkiness to be interesting! Rue des Ursulines is a fairly quiet street, between two busier ones. The location is fantastic. We 3 could walk easily to & through the Jardin du Luxembourg, the Pantheon, Rue Mouffetard, Musee Cluny (my favourite), the Jardin des Plantes and St Germain. We caught buses to other parts of Paris - there are stops with convenient routes nearby - but young legs could walk to St Michel, Notre Dame, St Chappelle, the Marais and beyond. The neighbourhood is lively in a good, studenty way with plenty of bistros, cafes and interesting odd shops. I'm writing this review from Perth, sighing and wishing I could be back there!
