Panoramic Penthouse on the Arno-Florence

We were able to communicate no problem making check in smooth. The apartment was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the open space and amazing views of Florence city center. It was a bummer that the outdoor cushions had been left out in the rain so we couldn’t sit on them after the rain had stopped. Maybe a cover for the out door furniture but I’m sure that’s hard with the wind being an issue on the top floor. Super clean and well kept. Just a note that if you are planning on doing laundry there is only a washer but is very common in Europe. We stayed in the spring and had someCooler days and the heater worked just fine. Would be an amazing apartment for any season, warmer days on the patio and cooler days inside with beautiful views.

We stayed in Athens, Florence and Rome on this trip. This location was our favorite. Loved the penthouse setting. Great views. Located within walking distance to the railway station and all of our excursions. Numerous restaurants and Gelato options on this side of the river. Good communication for access to the unit and checkout was a breeze.

Great location. Easy access walking or for taxi's, just a ridge and a block away from city center. Quieter but close to restaurants, bars, cafes, grocery, sites. Walk to shopping, restaurants, museums, historical sites. Amazing views! Large outdoor terraces. Modern zen-like apartment is besutiful with everything you need including good wifi and accomodating, responsive hosts and comfortable beds. Elevator was nice. Good security. Will.rent again!

Perfect apartment for 5 people! Close to everything!

My family had a great 3-night stay in this beautiful, clean, and conveniently located apartment in Florence. The apartment was well-appointed, very clean, and had plenty of space for my family to be comfortable. With the top-floor location, views from the 3-sided wrap-around balcony were stunning. The location was perfect for us with so many great attractions and restaurants within walking distance. The host was good to work with, responsive, and the check-in and check-out process was easy. Would return if back in Florence.

Check-in process was a challenge. Apartment uses a 3rd party property management group for check-in.Morning of arrival we got a couple messages about check-in, but then communication went dark all day. It wasn’t until after we arrived, and had been waiting outside the apartment building for a while, that someone else responded to our calls and came over to let us in. Apparently the first person called out sick and the person trying to cover was scrambling all over the city and behind on check-ins. Other than that, the place was fantastic. Modern, clean, convenient. Made for a great stay. Will warn though, need to carry luggage up a flight of stairs before an elevator can take you the rest of the way up. If not able to carry your luggage it could be a challenge.

We rented for a week over Thanksgiving break to visit our daughter who is there studying abroad for the semester. This apartment is on the TOP floor of a residential apartment building. It's bright and clean and beautiful! The wrap around balcony/porch areas are SO special! You get the whole Florence skyline- including the Duomo! Great, residential area- on the south side of the Arno- in the NON touristy area, yet a short/lovely walk to everything. Only things to change on description: there is a washer, but no dryer- which I think is standard for Italy. There is a Nepresso type of coffee maker, no American style coffee maker which we would have loved. Asked for a second set of towels for our week long stay and that was provided for us. We didn't know what to do with the trash but our daughter helped us figure it out! Would return to this apartment any time!

A delightful stay at Sweetstay's urban retreat. The space was modern, well-equipped, and in a fantastic location. Great value for money.

It is just a lovely apartment, clean and well designed, with great outdoor areas. The location of the apartment is perfect as everything is in walking distance, like grocery store, restaurants and old town. The contact with Sweetstay was great, we felt well prepared and during our stay we had a great support from Nicollo.
