Stayed Dec 28, 2024The apartment was very spacious, far exceeding the impression given in the pictures. It comfortably accommodated our family of five with room to spare. The location was also excellent, making it easy to take a short trip into the center of Berlin. We appreciated the convenience of using the park-and-ride facilities at the nearby S-Bahn stations, which made travel simple and efficient.The only reason we’re not awarding 5 stars is the heating system, which is essential during a Berlin winter. While the apartment was never freezing, it also wasn’t as warm or comfortable as we would have liked. One room wasn’t heated at all, and another only had half of the system functioning. Due to our short stay, we didn’t raise the issue with the owner, though we’re confident they would have worked to resolve it, as they were extremely helpful during the booking and planning process.Despite this, the overall experience was positive, and this wouldn’t deter us from booking again in the future.

Stayed Sep 13, 2024Such a great property with so much space! Love the decor. Stayed with friends to access Erkner for the Ironman 70.3 race and it was so easy to get there.Really great location for Berlin access as well.

Stayed Apr 23, 2023Our family had a very enjoyable one month stay in this relaxing and comfortable apartment. It is well equipped and is even larger than the photos suggest. The location is great, with forest and a beautiful lake close by. Several supermarkets and restaurants are in the local area and a short 10 minute drive offers many more. There are good public transport links into Berlin and surrounding areas. We felt very relaxed and at home in the property and would highly recommend it.

Stayed Jul 7, 2022This apartment was beautiful. There is a terrace overlooking a beautiful garden, lots of room for our family to spread out - and for our teens to get their own space, and bikes we could borrow. Easy to get to by public transportation- this was a lovely spot to take a break from the city. We would have liked to spend more time here!

Stayed Jul 15, 2018This is an excellent property. Wd stayed here to visit Berlin and enjoy the lakes. So much to see and do from here and the property is in a beautiful residential area. We had a car but you could manage without as there are excellent public transport links. S bahn to Berlin is excellent and takes about 30 minutes from Friedrichshagen. Lots of cycling walking and great activities on lake, plus a lakeside beach nearby. The decor of the apartment is beautiful and host is excellent.
