Stayed Oct 15, 2025Place was kind of hard too find. And couldn't contact host, poor cell service. We stopped to ask someone working in their driveway where we were to find out it was the owner. So much for quiet and peaceful. Host was nice, but there was nothing in add about sharing the rental with him living upstairs. No sleeping in late and hearing the toilet flushing. Fridge and microwave could have used a good cleaning. Host stated VRBO posted wrong pictures.There is a cancelation policy, but I wonder if there's a non acceptance policy.Last stay in the area at SCOTTIES was great.

Stayed Sep 26, 2025The place could sleep four to five people. We didn't have any children with us. It was my husband and his best friend. The host was friendly and accommodating. Such a peaceful place to stay. It was out in the country but it was exactly what we needed.

Stayed Jun 16, 2024This cabin is located in a very quiet, peaceful area, which is fantastic for decompressing and relaxing. Keep in mind that it is a bit of a drive if you're looking for restaurants or shopping. Cell service is poor, as to be expected in the mountains, but there is wifi in the cabin with a strong signal. The cabin itself is very clean amd comfortable. You're renting the bottom level, while the host lives in the top level via a separate entrance. He is very kind and we didn't even notice him there once we were checked in. We did have to find him to get the door code because I texted him but he didn't receive it, (again, you're in the mountains and cell service is spotty). The cabin has everything you need as far as kitchen wares, bedding and towels. We have no complaints and would recommend to friends staying in the area!
