Otranto: Apartment/ flat - OtrantoLuxury Apartment

Lovely bright apartment in ideal location. Close to bus/ train station & supermarkets, and short walk to old town. Maria was very helpful worh check in & advising us on pkaces to visit etc.

We spent over five weeks at this comfortable and nicely decorated apartment. The apartment itself offered everything we needed for a long stay. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space - morning coffee on the terrazza off the bedroom and late afternoon aperitivo on the roof top deck with a view of the square below and the ocean in the distance. The kitchen was very functional, the living room ideal for relaxing and the bedroom had lots of space for storage. The neighbours are also extremely friendly and helpful. They immediately made us feel right at home.One of the best features of the apartment is its location. There are three full grocery stores, a couple of home goods stores and a bakery within a few blocks. The immediate area was quiet and relaxed. It was about six minutes to walk to the public beach (already warm enough for swimming when we arrived in late April) and just a few minutes further to the beautiful old town of Otranto. There is an endless selection of restaurants and bars in those areas.The countryside surrounding Otranto offered us endless options for outings. We explored the nearby towns by bike and traveled the hiking paths along the coast. Maria's apartment provided us the perfect base for our Puglia adventure.

A very convenient location. Maria very quick to respond. Love that it has a washing machine and an iron! Quiet. Close to 2 grocery stores. The train/bus station is steps away. The best part for us was the kindness of our neighbor. T

We stayed almost 3 months in this apartment using it as a base to explore other parts of Italy. We always felt like we were coming home when we arrived back in Otranto. The apartment is very convenient to the train station and bus stop and within walking distance to the beach, bars and restaurants as well as supermarkets. I don't think it fits into the luxury category as promoted; it needs insect screens on the doors and windows and the mattress and pillows need upgrading, but Maria was very prompt to fix any problems that we had during our stay.

Excellent stay! We stayed for a month and were working from there. Maria organized two working stations and the wifi was working fast. The location was great, next to the quiet railways station, with only couple of trains per day. Short walk to grocery stores and to the town. Lots of Excellent hiking trails nearby. We can warmly recommend!

It is a pleasant appartment. Only wifi was bad, we had to reset the router several times.

Maria, was a very kind host. Check in was easy. Apartment was in a very quiet area, right next to a tiny train station. You never heard the trains as there was only a small train a few times a day. Very handy to hop on the train to Lecce. Fantastic and very friendly supermarket a very short distance away walking. The apartment had a good kitchen and we very happy there. The upstairs balcony is not really a usable space as it would be to hard to carry food etc up there.
