Orange House, 5 minutes from Chia

The apartment is better than in the pictures, very clean, spacious, good views and confortable (great bed and pillow). The location is perfect to enjoy Chia beaches: is quite near and you have services (you go to buy bread, food, to a bar or restaurant walking) because is in a small town, not in the mountain or road. Aldo is really nice, he explained everything about the apartment and gave us a lot of information and advices about the zone, maps, restaurants and beaches and was available for questions, advices,... We absolutely recomend it and'll come back to Aldo's apartament!

My husband and I had a great holiday in Sardinia. Apartment was well equipped and clean and the locals are friendly. Aldo is very helpful and can give good advice on where to go and what to do and see. Would definitely recomend this apartment. Car essential though as nearest beach is 10 minutes away. Thanks Aldo!

We had a nice escape with my boyfriend and enjoyed a lot Aldo's place. It's a very cosy apartment with all you may need to have the most pleasant stay: Kitchenette is very well equipped so as its living and bathroom. We had a red house and we woke up observing a spectacular view. Though you need a car or a bike to get to the seaside, we found this location very comfortable to get to the most romantic Sardinian beaches. There is no internet connection in the rooms, but you can easily get online since the village is full of wifi points. Those who stay with kids will enjoy it as well. Very comfortable, clean and pleasant. Staff is the most helpful as well. We recommend it.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was clean and well equipped so we didn't lack anything. The owner was extremely helpful, relaxed and friendly which also contributed to making our stay a great experience. The apartment is situated a few kilometres away from the more touristy parts of the area but still close enough to the coast and other places of interest. Maybe that also made it easier to make contact to the local people who also were incredibly friendly and generous. We absolutely recommend the place and hope to be back one day ourselves!

The apartment fits the bill for a perfect holiday in the gorgeous Domus de Maria/Chia region. Apartment is exactly as advertised, is very clean and well maintained. All the facilities you would expect and more. The owner Aldo is very friendly and welcoming giving you some suggestions of places to visit. Worth a visit are the beaches of Chia (SA Colonia) and the ruins at Nora for its Roman amphitheatre and mosaics. For those visiting the beaches, beach chairs, roll mats and sun umbrella is provided. Top marks overall, you would be hard pushed to find fault and we enjoyed are time in Sardinia enormously. Grazia Aldo, definitely we will return

We stayed for 1 week - out of season 2013 (beginning of May). The apartment is great, very clean and nice and with a nice view. Aldo, the owner, is most helpful and kind. Domus de Maria is the perfect place to stay in the neighborhood of fabulous Chia beaches / you need a car anyway to move around various beaches. Our favorite was Tuerredda beach but all of them are really nice. We had great croissants and coffee every morning at Daddy''s Snack bar in the town center.

The apartment is well equipped. The owner is extremely helpful and gave us many useful tips for our trips. . Many great beaches are accessible by car in a few minutes. We enjoyed the week very much.

All the steps to our holidays in this apartment went perfectly. Aldo was very kind in communication, organization and at site advises. The apartment met the descriptions in every point. Domus de Maria is a cosy small village where you can meet the authentic way of live. The nearby beaches are so beautiful, every day a chance to visit a new coast. Alternatively the forest of Is Cannoneris offers various opportunities for hiking or mountain biking. Insider tip: Try to grill a Salsiccia from the macelleria Centrocarni - marvelous!

It was a great holiday in Sardinia. The Red House in Domus de Maria was well equipped. We had a rental car and it was easy to discover beautiful beaches of Chia and Pula nearby. The people of Sardinia are very friendly. We would like to return

Smart, clean, quiet and comfortable accomodation overlooking the mountain town of Domus Maria. Aldo the host is very friendly and helpful and will direct you to local beaches etc. The shops in the local area are few and if you have a late arrival to the apartment you need to make sure you have some supplies with you. Beautiful beaches and mountain scenery are within easy reach of this apartment - great location.
