In all our years of renting from VRBO, this is probably the best place we have ever stayed! Extremely top end and up to date property. Frau Ridel is fantastic!! Great location to enjoy Garmisch. Highly recommend!!

The property is a spacious apartment for two with wonderful views of the Alps from the balcony. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom of a high quality. The apartment was well stocked with a welcome pack and the essentials which can easily be forgotten and which make a self-catering holiday so much easier. Parking is clearly marked. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area. The town centre is a pleasant walk across the fields. There is plenty to do within Garmisch Partenkirchen for various levels of activity. Thoroughly recommended as a holiday destination, and the apartment is the best we have stayed in during our holidays in Europe.

We stayed here for 6 nights. The apartment is modern, spacious, and clean. It is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. The hosts were very friendly and nice to work with. There is a washer and dryer for use in the basement for an additional small fee. It is conveniently located to nearby towns and hiking trails. Spectacular views of the hills/ mountains in every direction. There is a parking place on the property if you have a car. We really enjoyed enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay. This is one of the nicest places we have stayed at while traveling! The flat is beautiful, extremely clean and over the top comfortable in every way! Ann met us when we arrived to show us the home , she explained how things worked in the flat ... Lights, built in stereo system, cappuccino machine ..she even gave us a ride to the grocery store! While we drove into town she showed us the walking path through the park so we would be able to find our way back! The flat has every thing you can even imagine that you might want and then some! We not only had a cheerful welcome from Ann but a bowl of fruit, beer and wine were also waiting for us! I loved that the flat was stocked with condiments, coffee, tea, dish soap, garbage bags, re-usable grocery bags, tin foil etc.. The bath had extra toilet paper, Q-tips, soap, lotion, make up wipes , shampoo , conditioner.... Etc... It was so nice to have these little things left in the home so we did not have to buy all those little extras... We ran out of coffee beans so we took the opportunity to fill the canister for the next guests! We really can't say enough wonderful things about the flat and the owners ! Any questions we had were answered quickly by e mail, phone or in person! Thanks again! Tena and Scott ( from Utah)

We spent 3 nights in this wonderful apartment with great views of the mountains. It's modern, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped. Anything you could possibly need is already there for you to use. Daniela's mom met us when we arrived to explain how everything worked, and then stopped by again as we were leaving -- so friendly and extremely helpful. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the bathroom was amazing. We have lived/traveled in Europe for the last two years and this is by far the best shower we've had! There is a single space car park adjacent to the property -- convenient as well as easy in and out. Although it's not in the center of town, it's on a quiet street just a short walk from downtown Garmisch. Not sure if our travels will take us back to this area, but would definitely stay here again!

I had a nice long weekend between work assignments at the attic apartment in Garmisch! Daniela and her family were helpful, easy to work with and very accommodating. The apartment had everything I needed and was in a quiet neighborhood close to the city. I look forward to returning to Garmisch and staying here again soon.

My wife and I spent two months in this apartment in August/September 2014 and it was absolutely perfect. It is located in a quiet neighborhood on the northern side of Garmisch. About a 10 min walk to the town centre with a number of first class restaurants and bars even closer, it was the perfect base for our holiday in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The local bus stop was only a couple of minutes walk away from which buses went to the town centre, Bahnhof, Farchant, Wank, Ski Stadium and the Kreuzeck/Alpspitz cable cars. The buses are free with your tourist card. The apartment itself was furnished to a high standard with everything you could possibly think of (pots, pans, DVD Player, board games, 2 TVs, walking poles etc - we were amazed at how much stuff it had) and had beautiful views of the surrounding mountains including Zugspitze (especially from the big balcony which had great chairs for enjoying the sunset, reading and listening to the cow bells!). The kitchen was fully equipped so we could try our hand at cooking all the local dishes using the fantastic ingredients available in town. There was a large 4 person dining table. The bathroom was spacious and had very colourful lighting which was nice for relaxing after a long day of hiking. There are large windows in the roof in the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom which let in plenty of light and, when open, give the apartment an airy feel. The bedroom window has light proof shutters to keep it dark in the early morning. There are plenty of walking tracks close by as well with Kramer and its extensive trails just a 5 minute walk away. Pflegersee can also be accessed easily by foot. There is a small convenience store nearby for food and a service station that is open 7 days a week that is a great option for drinks. Larger supermarkets in town are accessible by car/bus. Daniela was the perfect host. She was friendly and answered any questions we had (she even picked us up from the train station when we arrived and dropped us off when we left which was very much appreciated as we had a lot of baggage). There is a washer and dryer in the basement (8 EUR for a wash and dry at the time we stayed) if you need to do any washing and internet is available (fast and reliable – 10 EUR per week for one device). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our two months and were very sad to leave. We are planning another trip soon and definitely hope be staying in one of Daniela’s apartments.

We spent 4 nights at this apartment and, wow, were we impressed. Daniela thought of everything! It's a very modern, clean, and well-equipped apartment. (The photos were accurate!) Perfect for two people and a perfect location for sightseeing in Bavaria. Daniela's mom met us and explained how everything worked. She was so friendly and helpful. Special amenities were provided such as a bowl of fruit, champagne, chocolates on our pillows, and a vase of peonies. We had a safe place to park our car and great views of the surrounding mountains. Garmish was a mere 10 minute walk. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking with grocery stores nearby. We especially liked the Jura coffee machine. After a day of touring, we'd come 'home' to a fresh cup of coffee. How wonderful is that? The bathroom is spacious with a huge shower. Just can't say enough good things about this place AND it's very reasonable priced. A superlative place in every way.
