GUEST ACCESS
You are renting the entire first floor of a house that has separate apartments on the upper floors. These apartments are occupied by full time tenants. We ask that you respect the security and privacy of the building's other tenants (your short-term neighbors) by always locking the front security door's electronic lock behind you. Your access to the building is through the front entryway only. Rear door use is not permitted unless in the case of an emergency. Thanks!

HOW WE INTERACT
We respect your privacy, and so will likely not reach out during your stay, but we encourage you to do so if you have any questions or need anything at all!

We live right in the neighborhood, and are happy to assist with anything you might need. Also very happy to offer recommendations on restaurants or places to explore, as we are local and love our neighborhood!

OTHER HELPFUL THINGS TO KNOW
Our place is located in a lively city neighborhood, so there may be street and pedestrian noise that is inherent to an urban environment.

Please note that there is a dog (very friendly) that lives on the third floor of the building. He's a good boy and keeps to himself, but you may here an occasional bark when entering the building.

We celebrated a special first Christmas with our new version of family. The antiques and chandeliers and antiques in sitting room & living room felt like a step back in time and welcoming as well to make ourselves at home, where we played games, and had a yummy feast created in a great kitchen with many added amenities and special touches of beautiful dining ware, & bar cart- The next day we walked all around Providence, found imported limoncello and feasted with the locals out for holiday gatherings, after a tragic unimagineable attack on this small & widely known safe city. They were RI strong and we felt very safe. Thx Jess for your helpful and prompt communication. This could be the start of our new xmas

FABULOUS apartment! Do close to Atwells Ave and the Italian District. The building is amazing -Kitchen isn’t huge- but it has everything you need to make some ravioli and sauce from local Italian Grocery. Perfect place for our 30th wedding anniversary. It was rainy one day, so we got some wine, bread and cheese from the grocery and just enjoyed the house. The bed is so comfortable!!!!!! Brush up on your French press skills and you’re golden. You will love this apartment.

Postives and negatives here. This location is a little scary if you are used to living in American suburbia. Haha. While the house is beautifully historic, checking in at night was spooky not having any idea who happened to live in the same building. Also, bc the house is so old, there are a lot of sealed off doors…making you wonder where they lead to or who could get through them. Maybe no one, but unnerving just the same. Plus a ton of creaking, dripping etc sounds…again due to the age of the house, but as we all know, it’s hard to sleep in an unfamiliar place as it is, much less with a bunch of noises. I slept with my earbuds in to get sleep. There is no microwave and only a nespresso machine, so if you want actual coffee, you’ll have to go and get it. Postives are that it is very historic and harkens back to a bygone era- if the walls could talk…so much to say:) The decor was beautiful, and the bed was super comfortable. It was very clean. Very large and spacious for a place that sleeps 3.

Enjoyed the home. It was a little chilly and noisy throughout the night from the steam pipes but overall was a good comfy spot just a couple blocks from Atwell Ave.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was just exactly what we needed! The decor is gorgeous and the neighborhood is lovely. The bed and the couch were comfy, and the kitchen was well equipped with the basics. Lydia was very communicative. We would absolutely come back!
