Old Town Getaway, Walk to Shopping, Dining, & Bay!

The outdoor area was great, except the mosquitos. Lol .really quaint cottage.bed was comfy. Really cute area but would like the larger side b . Very comfy

Property was perfect location for exploring BSL as it was close to downtown, restaurants, and shopping. Property was clean and inviting with just enough for the 2 of us. Bathroom was very small but manageable. Things did get a little noisy at time with proximity to businesses next door but better than marina area where we've stayed before with music and cars until after midnight.

Loved the location! Would greatly appreciate flat surfaces or counter for personal items or toilet articles in bathroom. Overall, lovely.

A wonderful place to stay! The studio was comfortable, the courtyard was delightful and peaceful. The location is perfect, we walked to shops and restaurants. We loved this place and will definitely book again.

Perfect location within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The host communicated well and answered questions promptly. Parking is tight, as noted in the listing, and not suitable for oversized vehicles. Pet friendly.

It was the perfect stay

Everything was great except for the dog next door barking in the other unit. It sounded like he was going to come through the door. We were very lucky he didn’t bark at night.

This was our second time to stay here. We love the location and cleanliness of the property. Will definitely stay again.

Everything was great. The area was very nice.

The place was much smaller than we expected because we’d stayed in Apt b last year. There was a troubling episode with some manager person. She texted me when I was in a museum because my husband had apparently slightly grazed some rusty, rickety shelf type of thing when we were backing ought of the terrible parking accommodations. There was no damage to the thing but she seemed very disturbed by it—pretty over the top.

It was a very lovely stay. I did run into a problem with the property management company. The door would not lock and they offered no assistance. I just happen to notice a phone number on outside key box so I called it. She was very polite but didn’t handle the property anymore. She was kind enough to make a call to the local owner or else I would have had to leave. The owner did come in very quickly to resolve the problem. But the pm manager failed to help me in anyway! I personally wouldn’t use them for my rental.

Cute enough place. We liked it. Just realize that you are practically in the outside dining area of the adjoining taco stand and if parents are letting their children scream and carry on, you get to listen to it. Also to their choice of music over loudspeakers. All day and night. Not that the host can do anything about any of this. Thought it was worth passing this on though.

It was the perfect location as far as access to shops and restaurants. It did share a driveway with a local restaurant so early morning deliveries were made which were noisy. Overall we were very pleased and would stay again.

We had a great stay at this cozy place. The location was perfect within walking distance of everything we wanted to visit. It was clean and comfortable. I will definitely be staying here again.

Overall, we loved our stay. We loved the location and the accommodations. We didn't love the parking and the tv went out halfway thru our stay. Very comfortable and walking distance to a lot!!

The studio was cute & clean and in a great location - you basically share a driveway with a taco stand, coffee shop and ice cream store. It's a few walks to the beach and downtown.

Great location very close to the downtown beach area

For the most part, the cottage was very quaint, charming and clean; and logistically very convenient to the waterfront. However, an overgrown back yard and swarming bees kept us from enjoying the outdoor space., and frenzied construction on a soon-to-open restaurant within mere yards of the cottage made for disturbing daytime noise, jockying around vehicles in an already tight driveway, and annoying floodlights burning all night. Otherwise I'd consider renting it again but I'm concerned these negative factors will only intensify once the restaurant opens.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and perfectly stocked. Everyone we meet in the area was friendly. A great time was had! Can’t wait to stay again:)

First, all aspects of booking and checking into property, went extremely smoothly. The property was clean, stocked and ready for guests. It was located in the old downtown area but had a private area. Just 2 blocks from the beach. Plenty of shops, restaurants and wonderful Ly helpful citizens. We will be returning.

Was a great location to all the great places in Old Town Bay Saint Louis. Very comfortable bed and well decorated. Enjoyed the little back yard for my fur babies. Ms Marty was a great host,

Location was perfect walking distance to local shops and the beachfront. Only a short drive to the beach area where you can spend all day. Very clean. We unfortunately were unable to connect the TV to any streaming services as it kept saying no signal-it would have been nice to relax with a movie in the evening. Parking was a little difficult as the adjoining business in the parking area is under construction. It left a very narrow path to navigate our small SUV into and be able to turn around to get out of parking area. A larger vehicle would not have been able to use it because of the construction lines of that business.

Place was perfect for me, my husband and our dog!! Awesome location!

We chose this property for our last minute midweek getaway with our dog. It was a clean, nicely maintained and appointed studio as described in the listing. We were very comfortable and would definitely return in the future. We recommend this studio.
