Off duty mermaid is a cute, very clean little place. The bed was real comfortable. Also, The TV was pretty user friendly. Great quiet location close to the beach and the pier. Highly recommend Renting Here.

This room was very clean and very cute mermaid decor. We came down for Biketoberfest and wanted to get close to main street and this place was perfect. Main st just couple blocks away and close to the entertainment restraunts. Beach right in back and the pool was great! Thank you! Ken and Lisa

Great stay.....amazing location

This is an old hotel turned privately owned apartments located in a building walking distance to the Daytona beach pier. The actual apartment itself was relatively clean and it was apparent the owners put effort into cleaning it up, though the overwhelming smell of moldy mildew was difficult to overcome regardless of the air evaporator they had set up in the room. We also arrived with the ac out and a small portable unit set up in the kitchen area which did not adequately cool the entire unit and leaked on the floor which also added to the moisture in the room. We also learned the owners knew ahead of time that the ac was out, which we were not made aware of. Thankfully it came back on before our first night but we never felt like the room was adequately cooled during the daytime. It’s important to note we were there during a holiday weekend so perhaps the grounds would have been better maintained during a less busy time, but the actual complex was awful. The pool was full of debris, the pot and cigarette smoke was awful everywhere we went outside of our room. Someone even sat on their balcony throwing their cigarette buts into the bed of our truck parked under them. It honestly felt like we were staying in a frat house during spring break. It was not at all family friendly. We took a chance on the affordable price, but you get what you pay for and in this case, we wish we had spent the extra money for a more classy location.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Off Duty Mermaid Studio in Daytona Beach! This charming studio exceeded our expectations in every way. The space was impeccably clean, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The mermaid-themed decor was a delightful touch, adding a whimsical and coastal vibe that perfectly complemented the beachside location.One of the highlights of our stay was the large pool area, which was well-maintained and offered plenty of lounge chairs for relaxing. The pool overlooks the beach, providing stunning views and a serene setting to unwind. The direct beach access from the pool area was incredibly convenient, making it easy to go from a refreshing swim to strolling along the shore.Overall, the Off Duty Mermaid Studio is a gem for anyone looking for a clean, charming, and conveniently located getaway in Daytona Beach. We highly recommend it and would love to return for another relaxing stay!

Perfect little place on the beach! We rented it out for Rockville, which I only went one day and stayed back at the place for pool/beach days!!! Super clean!! Super responsive hosts!!! I give this a 5 star rating!!

The decorations and all the extras made this place so inviting. It was clean and in a good location to restaurants, the beach, and other activities. The owners were good at communicating as well. Definitely would like to stay here again some day .

Overall the property seemed to be going through some transitions. The pool area was closed off and unusable and the area surrounding felt a little sketchy. The studio itself was clean amd well maintained.

Unit is neat and identical to pictures. Owner includes a few extra amenities. Location is super convenient and walkable to restaurants. Owner is very responsive.

The daytona inn has transitioned from hotel to privately owned condos. All of the owners I encountered were extremely nice and helpful in pointing us toward activities/ eateries less touristy. The condo we rented was exactly as described.

Tony and Lynette are very responsive hosts. The unit is well stocked and was a great stop for our family. We were looking for a value stop and the is perfect.

Lynette & Tony were awesome! They were quick to answer all of our questions. We had no issues during our stay! The place was extremely clean! The location is perfect! My family of 4 loved it! If we are back in the area, we will try to book again!

I absolutely loved the condo! It was bright and had the most amazing little touches that made it feel like home away from home! Tony and Lynette were very accommodating and were readily available if needed!!! I will definitely be staying again!!!

Beautiful suite. The owners have put some work in to it. My kids and myself felt extremely comfortable there. Easy access to the pool and beach. Within walking distance of many of Daytona's attractions. Owners provide any basic necessity you can think of, towels, blankets, toiletries, plates, etc. Owners were upfront and honest about any potential inconveniences. Owners promptly reached out to me about the water going out temporarily because of renovations to other suites. My family enjoyed the stay and would recommend to others.

This place was extraordinarily clean, beautifully decorated, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay!! Communication with owners was quick, check-in and check-out was easy, the location was amazing! Pool was so nice, and right on the beach!
