Ocean Reserve Miami Luxury Rents

The pool was very dirty, had white creamy stuff coming out of the filter/drain area, a lot of dirt and hair in the pool as well. The debris clogging the drain was there all three days we stayed which shows they don't clean it often. The resort management is very strict on which doors to enter when coming back from the beach or pool. Highly secured, have to use a key to go anywhere.

The 3 star review is for the lack of amenities in the condo and the owner not being flexible and abrasive. The property was clean and plenty of room and we loved the pool and lounge area. The location is a very easy walk to the nice beach. Unfortunately we assumed the property owner would provide pots and pans and cooking utensils since there is an oven and stove provided. The dishwasher was unusable as there were parts just lying in it. We were provided with plates, cereal bowls, silverware, and cups. There wasn’t any balcony furniture at all to enjoy the nice view. No option of checking in early or checking out late. No beach chairs or umbrella. The owner did not list these amenities but I have never stayed at a VRBO in over 20 years that has not provided these essentials that we always use. The king bed was comfortable but it is on the floor which is very different. These little amenities that are lacking would go a long way to make this a nice place.

The apartment was amazing, would deff stay here on our next vacation to miami. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Right next to Aventura mall and other shops. Pool is gorgeous.

This apartment is so clean and bright. Our stay was very comfortable and we loved the pool and pool area. This place is walking distance to the beach and we had a great time exploring Sunny Isles. Fitness center was very nice too. We slept like babies in the king sized bed and enjoyed having coffee on the balcony with a view of the ocean. My husband and I would stay here again. A great pre-cruise stay to soak in the sun and warmth before heading to the ship in Miami.

Appartment is located across the street from the ocean. Location cannot be better for the money you pay! Vladislav (owner) did everything to accommodate for our schedule, he arrived sooner than announced check-in time and let us in. He is very helpful in answering any questons you may have about the local life.. appartment was clean, towels provided, and even tea kettle was very helpful, it could however use a few more kitchen utencils helpful to those who likes to cook :) overall - great place to stay for a summer vacation. Can't wait to come back next year! Natasha

Pros: The condo was quite roomy for a 1 bedroom unit. Nice kitchen and living room and bedroom was good size. Good quality TV's in living room and bedroom. Beach was a 5 minute walk. Super huge mall was only 5 minute drive. Designated parking was good. Cons: No laundry in unit, and were not provided access to laundry in building. TV programming was very limited and no guide (if that's important to you). Bed was king size and comfortable, but would feel better if it was off the floor (no bed frame under box). Summary - Nice unit but could be easily upgraded to a very nice unit.
