Nice apartment in poble sec near the sea and montjuic mountain

The location was great and the amenties were ok. A few problems that were resolved quickly

Everything was as described. Clean, homely and it had a lift (gold). Easy walk to La Rambla. Places to enjoy real paella and tappers 1 minute walk from door.

The apartment looks just like the pictures and the location is good. The key is located 1/4 mile from the apartment so there and back 1/2 mile with luggage. Kind of a pain. Heat cost extra so read the fine print.

Great location, easy check-in, and exactly as described. Short walk to cafes, parks, stores, and metro.

Nice apartment but hot during Barcelona’s heat wave as the AC is in the kitchen and not the bedrooms.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable, a great place to stay for a week. Laundry in unit was easy to use and appliances were great. It was an easy walk to many of the best locations in Barcelona. The host was very helpful and nice, I look forward to staying here again in the further.

Denis was a very responsive host. The apartment is clean and well appointed. The neighborhood is up and coming but lots of very good food options within short walking distances. The Metro is about a 10 minute walk. We enjoyed our stay here!

good things first:the flat is clean,perfectly formed,in a vibey area,[maybe too vibey of a saturday night then again I'm over 70}fantastic restaurants/bars [1 great cheese store down the road,Artefor],metro handy for all areas,centre of town/airport/beach etc..just......the check-in is a problem.by the time we arrived we had no detailed check-in insturctions,so a call to VRBO prompted action but even then,an unlabeled keybox on a wall several streets away does seem a bit cruel on anyone arriving in a new town. eventually we managed but talk about stress.Comms with the owner are generally a problem to an english speaker,but that could be easily sorted:a pre-written clear instruction pdf with photos of the box etc. would sort things??and to end positive,we really enjoyed our time there,thanks!

The apartment was great! Nice location, well stocked, clean, and Denis was very responsive and helpful. It was a little difficult to retrieve multiple keys during check-in as we were traveling with an infant but pretty straightforward with Denis’ directions. Nice, quiet neighborhood! Would stay here again.

Perfect location 10 mins walk from las ramblas. Quiet area but has cafes, bars and supermarkets within walking distance. Very comfortable apartment for small groups. Kitchen and bathroom areas as photos. Good communication from owner. Highly recommend fir a city break

A nice apartment 15 minute walk to La Rambla the check in process was a little weird. We got there early and we’re hoping to check in because we were exhausted from international travel but he made us wait until 3 o’clock. The clean air took four hours to clean the place and we couldn’t get in is very very small.

We were attending a conference at the Palacau Congresso and this apartment was perfect for us. Simple and great WiFi. Denis recommended an amazing fish restaurant, LASCAR 74 which was 5 minutes walk and really wonderful.

Elevator a big plus

Large apartment with washer and dryer, which was great. Good for two couples. Close to Montjuic. Denis provided us with lots of info and is quick to reply.

Really enjoyed our stay at Denis's apartment. Just a good distance away from the business of Ramblas with plenty of great restaurants within a 100 metres. Communications with Denis was excellent ?

My wife and I recently enjoyed our stay at this property. The property was very clean and had everything that we needed during our stay. The property is located just two blocks away from what seemed like tapas capital of the world. Lots of great restaurants with great food and atmosphere. Highly recommend this property if you are in Barcelona.

Dire instructions in broken English for arrival. No one on site to greet you. Keys were about 6 blocks away at another location!!!!! Owner was surly when called to ask about entry into site Cash taxes levied appear to be massively inflated (5.5 euros for three night versus 36 requested) Based on attitude, and very poor service will it not be returning. Apartment is also drab and in need of updating Location isn’t bad.

Nice apartment. Host Denis was always available via WhatsApp. Lots of restaurants, bakery, groceries in the area. Neighbourhood is not touristy which makes it fun. Always felt safe. Great place to use as a base.

Great spot clean easy to communicate with owner

The home was sufficient for our stay. The beds were comfortable. Unfortunately I did think the house could have been a little more clean. The immediate area was an enjoyable walk to nearby stores, coffee shop, and tapas bars. But it’s right outside of a really rough area of town so we had to walk with caution. It was also hard to get taxis in the area.

The apartment is in a nice neighborhood with easy access to public transportation. The elevator made it comfortable and easy to get to the apartment after a long day of walking around Barcelona. Host was easy to communicate with and gave lots of good suggestions on where to eat and shop in the area. A variety of good restaurants are within walking distance when you need a break from tapas and paella.

Was a lovely location, lots of nice places to eat out. Would recommend but lack of outdoor space was a bit unfortunate. Had everything you needed otherwise, would return :)
