Stayed Oct 21, 2025Really enjoyed our time here. It was beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Well stocked kitchen. Don't forget your slipper as the apartment is warm, but the floor is cold. The beds were more comfortable than my bed at home.

Stayed Oct 4, 2025The place was absolutely perfect, beautiful, clean, comfortable, and I loved the kitchen. We use the barbecue grill and had wonderful dinners. There. We were visited by a neighborhood cat who is super friendly, and a bunch of pheasants on the property. I would definitely stay there anytime I go to Moscow. Melanie was readily available and Susan who helps manage. The property was super friendly and very nice. It is by far one of the nicest places I have ever stayed.

Stayed Oct 2, 2025At risk of sounding like Goldilocks, it was JUST RIGHT. Pretty, neat as a pin, comfortable, modern, well-designed and maintained. The only caveat I would offer is bring your own coffee maker if do not prefer to make your coffee with a French press. And if you're good with that, no problem! This place is a most excellent choice.

Her home is gorgeous and has all the amenities and special touches. The property is beautiful and serene but close to town. We can’t wait to return!

Stayed Nov 29, 2024The house was far enough away from the city to be nice and quiet, but about a five minute drive to stores, bars and restaurants. Nicely furnished, nice sized kitchen. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was great. The Wi-Fi was out, so I wasn't able to watch any football, but that wasn't a deal breaker. I plan on staying there again next fall.Q

Melanie called me several days before the trip to give me lots of details, she followed up with a text and was there when we arrived to show us the place. Stayed Jun 21, 2024The Red Pheasant House is a short drive from downtown, yet in the quiet countryside of the Palouse. We got to sit outside and enjoy our morning coffee. It was a natural beauty. True to its name we saw a pheasant. We also saw quail, ducks, and song birds. The host obviously takes great care to make you feel welcome. It had everything we needed for our weekend visit. I recommend anyone visiting Moscow to stay at the Red Pheasant House.
