Near Snowbird & Alta Resorts: Winter Getaway

Very incredible place to stay, incredibly clean, incredibly updated, super close to Brighton and solitude. All you could ever ask for. Great hosts as well, extremely responsive and wonderful.

This place was a great location in a beautiful neighborhood for convenience to Salt Lake and Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude, Park City and Deer Valley. The unit was spacious with two large bedrooms and was clean and well taken care of. Gerry was a great host and he checked to make sure we were good and needed anything. Would definitely be coming back to this rental.

The house was perfect for our ski vacation. Gerry was very catering and responsive to any of our needs. Great day. And we would like to stay again!

We loved this spot for our ski vacation. Everything recently redone. Stocked kitchen for cooking or whatever. Location perfect.

For the most part, we enjoyed our stay in this lovely Cottonwood Heights home. The location is outstanding in that it is very near several area ski resorts. The property is located in the bottom level of a residence and is accessible via a set of concrete steps in the side backyard. A little difficult getting all of our luggage down, but once we were in, we enjoyed the clean and modern space. The property manager greeted us that evening to answer questions and to warn us that we may hear their dogs upstairs.During the second half of our 5-night visit, the property mgr hosted some family upstairs in the main residence. We could hear lots of footsteps and running, the dogs barking and running with their new visitors, and our vehicle felt boxed in with the visiting family parking very close to our vehicle in the driveway. We had to have someone navigate backing out of the driveway whenever we left the property once the visiting family was there. We also received a surprise visitor one morning when a small child opened the door to our rental area from the main residence and walked right in. We did not realize that the door to the main residence was left unlocked (by the owner) and anyone could have just walked into our space unannounced. That was a little unsettling.This property was beautiful and convenient, but we were disappointed with the noise, parking, and lack of privacy during the second half of our stay.

The owners live up stairs and were wonderful hosts. I was a little worried that the basement unit would feel claustrophobic. Even though the living area did not have any real windows or views it felt warm and very comfortable. The furnishings were some of the best we’ve ever had in a rental. The beds are excellent and the kitchen is well appointed. We highly recommend this rental!

Excellent! Property was exactly what we wanted for a group of four adults. Everything was very clean and Gerry was very helpful throughout our stay. Very nice to work with! Location is excellent for skiing both Big Cottonwood Canyon and Little Cottonwood Canyon.

Property is at a perfect location for anyone planning to snowboard at Brighton or Solitude. Everything you need is about a 30 minute drive from this residence. Ideal location to get to places when being exhausted after being on the mountain to starting your day off right without having to rush to the mountain. Neighborhood and community is great and provided zero concerns. If planning a stay during winter season when it is snowing, having an AWD/4WD vehicle helps. However you can easily contact the host and see what is recommended dependent on the weather. The unit is connected to the owners residence which by no means an inconvenience at all. Gerry was a great host and appreciated his hospitality. Coming from a place that rarely gets snow to having to drive with a traction law in effect to get to the mountain, Gerry provided great tips on how to get to where we needed. What begin as an anxious concern was reassured by him being happy to share his experiences as a resident in the area. Beyond that he was open to responding to any questions we had and left us alone. Great location and host. Would recommend for anyone looking for a convenient and cozy space!

Exactly as listed, very convenient to BCC ski slopes. Property was very clean and owner was highly communicative. Small touches like having coffee and fresh creamer were much appreciated. Thanks!!

WE STAYED AT THIS PROPERTY IN DEC-JAN; FAMILY OF 4 AND IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST PROPERTIES WE EVER STAYED! VERY MODERN, CLEAN, GREAT INTERNET, STOCKED REALLY WELL WITH ALL YOU MIGHT NEED! EXCELLENT LOCATION: CLOSE TO SLOPES AND TO TOWN! OWNER GREETED US UPON OUR ARRIVAL, GAVE VERY HELPFUL INFO, DISCOUNTS FOR THE RENTALS AND LIFTS AND SUGGESTED GREAT RESTAURANTS!!! WE LOVED IT! WILL BE BACK FOR SURE!!! AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!!!

Well appointed - had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Gerry is a great host. Location is conveninent to LCC, BCC ski areas and close to the restaurants and stores in Cottonwood Heights area.
