Stayed Jan 8, 2026Our family visits the Olympic Peninsula regularly, since it’s one of our favorite places. We’ve stayed at a handful of VRBOs in the Port Angeles area, and at campgrounds and cabins in and around the National Park. The home at Oxenford Road, or Everland as the owners call it, takes the cake! Less expensive, more private and Frankly the pictures don’t do this place justice. They must have updated it since taking them because the inside is decked out with beautiful artwork, a projector, gorgeous cedar furniture (Mike told us he made it all himself!), a fish tank! Super cozy interior all around, and more than enough space for our family of 4.The best part, and the most unexpected, was the property outside the unit. The owners are building a cabin resort (cannot wait to come back and stay in a cabin!) and a little farm, and they invited us to explore the property. The kids loved meeting the ducks. It’s a split-level home and the owners live upstairs. That’s always a gamble since you can’t know how private it is until you stay there, which is probably why it’s priced as low as it is. The owners were home and around most days, but it’s quiet enough that we barely noticed. After long days hiking in Olympic NP, most evenings we’d come back to the unit and have a campfire around sunset while the kids played in the creek, which is close enough that you can hear it trickling from bed!
