Loved staying here. Peaceful and friendly host and everything was pristine!

We like the fact that John left us fresh flowers and chocolate bars and seltzer water in the fridge. Also He didn't mind That I brought My dog He even left Copies Of To do and places to eat around there. It's a very nice place to stay If you want to get away from everything. I really needed it because 2 years ago August 19th my daughter who was 16 years old took her own life by strangulation using my grooming table. I was a groomer for 30 years and i cant bare to see one. Grooming was my life . And even though it was only for a couple days it took my mind off it. And anybody that has lost a child understands where I'm coming from. He also was nice enough to leave soap shampoo conditioner hand wash mouthwash toothbrushes which actually that was the one thing we forgot which we used and toothpaste. Towels are provided the bed was Ultra comfortable. Especially after a day of hiking the waska Falls. I would definitely would rent from him again.

Lovely property, well landscaped, beautiful wildflowers and fresh lillies in the bedroom smelled wonderful. The apt is small but clean, and the washer/dryer and being dog-friendly were a huge plus. Prompt and easy communication w host.

Beautiful country escape for my partner and I

Our host, John, went above and beyond. There were beautiful fresh Lily's and pistachio cream chocolates for us in the bedroom. Coffee pods, bottled water, seltzer & creamer in the fridge. Nice fluffy towels for the walk in shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great place to stay if you are attending an event at the R&W farm. Thank you again for everything.

Very nice apartment. Easy to get to. Was very quiet in a nice neighborhood. Close to New Paltz and surrounding areas such as Rhinebeck, Hyde Park and the mountains to the north and west. Right in the heart of wine country in the Hudson Valley.

John is very communicative and gave us great recommendations. The apartment has everything you need, we had a great stay.

Very clean, well maintained spacious 1 bedroom apartment with generous amenities like coffee, half & half, flavored seltzer water and a dog crate and bed. Especially enjoyed the vase of fresh flowers and chocolates. We hope to be back!

If you are a light sleeper this can be problematic.

This is my second stay at John's home, and I will be returning. John's attention to detail and hospitality is evident in all of the features and amenities his home offers.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The property was ideally located on a quiet street. The grounds were scenic, with wildflowers growing right where we parked. The space was roomy and had everything we needed. The furniture and decor had a fun vibe: a mix of modern and mid-century. And John left a vase with fresh flowers in the bedroom. Bravo!! We would definitely stay here again.
