The host of this unit is dishonest. They create multiple listings with photos of nicer units and then when you arrive it’s not what was advertised. Once I brought this up to the host they removed the photos offline from this listing. They made an excuse the actual unit had a plumbing issue and were doing me a “favor” by providing another unit. They claimed to have told VRBO this issue and said they assumed VRBO had talked to me about it. Which was all not true. I have screenshots and more and will be pursuing this further as I’ve seen this person and/or people do similar to others based on similar listings and reviews. VRBO really needs to crack down on dishonest scams such as these. I have provided photos from the original ad and what the unit actually looked like. We have to use a fold up bed as the ad said there were two beds but there was only one, and I would not have rented this unit had I known the second bed was a fold up. Additionally there were not sheets or blankets for this bed and I had to reach out to the host for such. They did drop off linens on the floor outside the door. But never knocked to let us know they had done this. To the host, I have not given up and will pursue further action for a refund. You did not provide what was advertised and then lied about it. You also did not follow VRBO policy on numerous occasions including communication about check in as well as taking the communication out of VRBO.
