Michiana Apartment #2: Two bedroom one bath apartment in downtown South Haven!

There is no shortage of pride in ownership here! While retaining all the charming elements of years gone by, it has been updated for today’s comfort. The exterior had gorgeous florals, huge pots of annuals in perfect bloom despite it being late in the season. It was my kind of very clean and well maintained. Loved the proximity for walking to the beach and downtown. Really enjoyed South Haven and we hope to come back next year and bring our bikes.

The house was very nice.On the plus side, it was clean and the furniture comfortable. Internet was great, the Roku provided a nice way to relax at the end of the day. The kitchen had everything needed, from dishes to glasses to pot & pans.The biggest issue was the window coverings. The blinds don’t close all the way (either pointing up or down) so privacy was an issue. The sun coming through in the morning made sleeping difficult. The outdoor light from apt 1 was on 24/7 and made sleeping in bedroom 2 difficult - because it was so bright. Not sure what was going on one of the nights, but the upstairs guest kept turning his outside light on and off and it lit up my room. While this isn’t the owners’ fault, it was bothersome to have a neighbor playing with the nights late at night. Room darkening curtains would be helpful. Otherwise, bedroom 2 was comfortable,Bedroom 1 has a very squeaky bed and the same issues with the blinds - the morning sun comes a-callin’ bright and early. Room darkening drapes would be helpful.We were somewhat taken aback that there was no shampoo or bath soap. This should be listed in the amenities so others know to bring it.A note about parking: this isn’t the owners’ fault, but it would be nice to ask visitors with over-sized pickup trucks to park on the street so 3 cars can fit in the driveway.Overall, we had a nice visit and we’re happy with this house.

Great location, convenient to everything. Our only real issue was that the Wi-Fi did not work the whole weekend.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Michiana apartments in South Haven! Our place was super clean, comfortable and close to the Downtown and Beach! Michael Biedermann, the property manager, was very helpful by sending updated information and responding quickly to my questions! We had a great time and hope to be back next year!! Thank you for making our friends getaway truly heavenly!!

We used the apartment as a spillover from our private home with visitors. It was so peaceful and clean. Perfect location and great owner to deal with!

A quick walk to the beach or the downtown area. The apartment was very comfortable with a kitchen that had plenty of dishware and cooking utensils.

From booking to arrival and throughout our stay, the host and the accommodations were exceptional. This is a definite return for us. Quiet neighborhood with comfortable furnishings created exactly the reunion we were hoping for with longtime friends.

Third trip to South Haven at this time of year - first time at Michiana. Location was fabulous - laundry on site a plus. Sheets in front bedroom were the softest I’ve ever encountered - just wow! Only thing I’d suggest is adding a scissors to the kitchen - lol!

We take an annual adult trip each year, and have stayed at the property 3 times now, and look forward to coming back!

Sisters trip to check out South Haven. The weather was beautiful, the apartment was clean and fit our needs perfectly. Easy walking to downtown shops & eateries along with a great boardwalk to the lake.

Location is great. Could walk downtown and to the beach.

Great place to stay in South Haven. Plenty of space for the four of us. Very cozy and relaxing. Much better than staying at one of the local hotels.

The accommodations were just like home. Everything you need is there. We had a great time, thanks for the memories!
