Stayed Aug 30, 2021The owner is extremely kind and helpful. We spent 5 relaxing weeks here and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The apartment was immaculate, kitchen nicely furnished for cooking, even a washer/dryer. The location in the historic center is a major advantage. We could walk out the door anytime and be in the heart of the city. We wandered among historic streets and stopped to sample the local pastries. We watched the neighbors meet in the alleys in the evening or hang their laundry on nearby balconies. We are now spoiled from buying fresh bread daily. We felt like we were living there and would highly recommend staying here if you want to see the tourist sites while living like a local.. Guimarães is charming. and this apartment makes a great home base for a couple.
