Maroochy Beachside 3 Bedroom Getaway

It was a shame the lock box did not work when we we arrived, however the property manager turned up within 5 minutes which was wonderful.We were unable to use the garage as it was too narrow for our vehicle.But overall the location and facilities were perfect as well WiFi access. We also appreciated the bedding being changed in the middle of the week.Thank you we throughly enjoyed our stay.

I’m sure this apartment will suit some people however not a great experience for us with kids aged 4 and 1.5 staying 8 nights. A few oversights when we booked.- The location was incorrect on the Stayz map, whilst it was correct in the description. This was confusing which we only realised after we booked and contacted the Manager to clarify.- The apartment was very old and a bit musty. - No air conditioning or ceiling fans meant it was hot inside and we had to use portable fans (supplied) to try and not overheat and sleep at night. This was challenging with a toddler in a portable cot. - No dishwasher, although not a big deal but again would have been handy with two kids.- Ensuite was handy however both bathrooms were pretty old and a bit smelly.- Old toilets with high water level which made it difficult for a just toilet-trained child- Dozens of small bug/ants appeared on the kitchen benches- On our last night dozens of baby spiders appeared in the main bathroom.- All internal doors had locks which was a risk for kids to lock themselves in rooms.On the plus side:- the location was great across the road from the beach and surf club and not far from a nice playground and shops.- TV access to Netflix was good- We managed to lock ourselves out of the apartment once and the Manager came pretty quickly to open up for us. This was appreciated.- Basement parking and and also on street- The price of the apartment was fairly cheap although we got what we paid for.
