In winter, a thick layer of snow turns the Donnersbachtal into a real winter fairytale. There is a choice of 2 snow-sure ski areas with a total of 50 km of slopes, the Riesneralm and the Planneralm. Planneralm is the highest ski village in Styria! If you are staying with children, the Riesneralm with its own 'children's ski area' is highly recommended. Something other than skiing Then pay a visit to the natural toboggan run near the Mörsbachalm and you can hit the cross-country trails in front of the chalet.
