    Hop step and a jump to the four mile beach and short distance to town centre.Organised and well equipped kitchen and other amenities.Friendly and helpful property management team and kept us informed when the room was ready for check-in. Bathroom/toilet needs some upgrading other than that we will recommend this property to others and certainly stay here when we visit Port Douglas again.

    Loved staying at Mandalay. Rooms were terrific, pool was clean and inviting. Parking was a bit tight. Only negatives for us was no lift and bath room in one room was a bath.

    Mandalay apartments were excellent. Brilliant location, within walking distance to the only part of four mile Beach with swimming flags and beach gear hire. We felt very smug walking past all the people looking for parking! Great access to mocrossan Street too. We didn't drive more than 7 minutes for our whole stay. Apartment was great for our family of three (Inc. 2 year old toddler). We ate most meals on the balcony and made frequent use of the pool. We will definitely be back!

    Great location, only 50m from the beach and a gentle walk into all of the towns amenities. We were in apartment 29, a two bed,2 bath unit with balcony. Generally very happy with the stay, although the kitchen and bathrooms are overdue a makeover, very 80s and not showing their age well. Would we come back…to Mandalay? yes! Just not same apartment next time.

    This complex is close to town with about 10 min walk . The beach is 50 metres away which is great for walking and a daily swim.The only problem was the flat needed more crockery as with 4 adults we kept running out so had to run the dishwasher daily.

    Disappointed with cleanliness of property on arrival. Quite a bit of maintenance and updating required, and the furniture wasn’t very comfortable. We loved the location, and the pool is beautiful

    Spacious apartment for our family with teens. Third floor with no lift access so probably not suitable for younger families but was fine for us. Great location - close to beach and 10 min walk to shops/cafes and marina. Communication with property manager was excellent. Would stay again and recommend to other families.
