This is a Studio unit in a 4 unit house called the Magnolia House. You can rent all 4 rooms for multiple families if available. Many rent Studio unit #2 along with unit #1. This unit #2 sleeps 3 comfortably. There is one queen bed and one folding twin bed in the living area. There is also a full bath, kitchen, and a washer and dryer room. This unit is on the right front side of the Magnolia House that sits on the majestic White River. Unit #2 does not have a river view but guests are free tocook out overlooking the river. This location is a popular location for professional anglers because of its unique location. A private creek runs into the White River making a perfect point for large Brown, Brooke, and Rainbow trout. Also, this house sits between the famous White River State Park and Gastons. This property is under new ownership and boasts of a clean, well managed stay. Smart locks and security cameras are used for safety and easy no contact check in and out. A farm house designed kitchenette makes this unit perfect for serving and cooking up those delicious rainbow trout. Also, a security fence has been installed for the safety and security of children(newly installed). The new fence lines the edge of the side creek and the top part of the White River Bank. A fireplace and grill is positioned in the front of the unit and back overlooking the river. Both provide an amazing outdoor space for the family to enjoy the nature and the beautiful White River. Everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Location on the river and close to the state park for trout fishing were what we were looking for. We’ve rented this spot twice and hasn’t ever disappointed.

Super steep bank to get to the waters edge, some of the wooden steps are questionable. The split air conditioning and a box fan wouldn’t get below 72 degrees. Not a bad place for the money but we won’t stay there again.

The pictures and description led us to believe this was a duplex type situation but in reality there were over 7 units packed with people all trying to share the same 20 foot stretch of river bank. I was hoping for a nice relaxing weekend of fishing but kids were jumping into the river and one of them hit my wife with a fish hook. The paper thin walls didn’t allow for any sleep. WiFi connection was terrible also. The only food within 30 minutes was Gaston’s resort and I wish we had just stayed there.

Had a splendid time on the White River. This unit is quaint and comfortable, which is exactly what we were looking for. Kitchen well stocked for preparing meals. Unit had a box fan, which was a nice bonus for sleeping. When you come, bring a hair dryer as there is not one provided. This unit is very nicely appointed and a great value for the money. Close to everything you need to have a great White River vacation!
