Stayed Dec 24, 2025Jose’s apartment had everything we needed for a great stay. It had a full kitchen, lots of towels and blankets and was a great location to get into Funchal and also the other attractions and hikes around the island.Jose also gave us some great recommendations.

Stayed Mar 30, 2023Great property! Jose was a wonderful host and very accommodating! My flight into Madeira arrived quite early and wanted to prolonged one of my hikes a bit, Jose was incredibly understanding of the later check in time. The apartment itself is great! Well equipped kitchen, was able to do laundry, and very spacious! Perfectly situated to drive in the surrounding area for hikes! Will definitely come back here again!

Stayed Jan 12, 2023Jose has to be the best host I have met. He personally drove my son and I around the area to familiarize him with restaurants, food market, bus stops and other important places. The apartment was perfect for the two of us and reasonably priced for the location and allowed us to check in early in the day. He even made me a cup of coffee!!! Lovely person and an apartment that perfectly suited our needs.
