Private chill out terrace at the back terrace.

Floor area: 130m2 + 100 m2 private terrace. Set at 15 meter from the beach, is a new and exclusive apartment, with sea views. Patio windows open onto a large balcony with room to eat 'al fresco'. Recently completed, the furnishings and fittings are of the highest standard. Central heating, air conditioning, entrance, kitchen, laundry, tv, strongbox garden, big swimming pool, solarium &toilets.

The big terrace is really good for families with children. It´s really new, so we have just furnished it with new furniture. Only rented few weeks on summer. New! Parking included!

At the 1st floor, you can use our new and a very nice social club, were you can see the TV, play table games.


Spanish Gastronomy: Spanish Gastronomy:
The rice constitutes one of the great chapters in the culinary history of this region. You can cook it in more than 300 different manner of ways and styles:
- Arroz a la marinera (fisherman's rice)
- Arroz al horno (oven-baked rice)
- Arroz amb fesols i naps (with beans and turnips)
- Arroz con costra (topped with a 'crust' of omelette)
Other variations allow for the rice to be flavoured with squid (calamar) and tunny fish, chicken and fillet of pork, baby squid (chipirones) and garlic shoots, or tunny fish and shrimps (gambas).
At the seaside, shellfish and salt-dried fish are on the menus of every restaurant. The day's choice might include gilthead (dorada), bass baked in salt (lubina a la sal), seafood with a squeeze of lemon, or some delicious sea-fresh red mullet (salmonete) and whiting (pescadilla).
In the mountain areas, rice forms an integral part of the olleta,a typical dish in which it is mixed with pork, sausage meats, pumpkin, turnip, chard stalk

How cook a 'paella': A rice dish for six persons:
600 g rice
480 g rabbit
600 g chicken
24 snails
180 g grated tomato
180 g 'garrofó' (special beans for paella)
180 g 'judias' (normal white beans)
6 tea spoons of olive oil
a few strands of saffron
1 tbsp sweet red pepper
salt and yellow colouring for paella
200 g ferraura (green beans for paella)

Place the paella over the heat with olive oil and some salt, when it is hot add the chicken and rabbit frying them over a low heat until gold brown. Add all the beans, fry a little longer and add the tomato. When these has been fried, add the sweet pepper and the water very fast (2.5 - 3 l). At boiling point add the snails, cleaned and boiled previously, saffron, colouring and a pinch of salt. After boiling for 15 minutes, the rice will be distributed evenly, after that it will be cooked for 6 minutes over fast heat and over a low heat for the rest of the time until it is done.

    We had a really fantastic stay here. The apartment is really spacious with a massive balcony, new kitchen and bathrooms. Great communication with host Alicia, and very easy logistics: the apartment is on road level with easy access at the back, and at the front/ balcony 2 floors up facing seawards. Wonderful pool. This apartment is so convenient for everything - the main beach, the snorkelling beach, shops, restaurants and bars, also the fish restaurants along the port. We always stay somewhere around here.A new recommendation from us: it's up towards Calpe centre, but the new 29th floor cocktail bar at the Suitopia hotel. Visit around sunset.

    Wow, clean beautiful, sunny apartment in an excellent location with a view of Mediterranean and Penyal d’Ifac! Communication with the host was great, all timely and polite. We had a person with mobility issues and the apartment worked out great with the elevator and awesome patio that they could use at all times and weather. Highly recommended!

    The apartment was really big and clean, big advantage is big terrace. The location was also perfect, the beach was in 5 min walk. We would come back there!

    Initial impression of property was good. However on further inspection, this was not a recently furniture apartment, Main bed was a sheet of MDF on posts with a mattress on top. Air conditioning not working! Very noisy neighbourhood, bins emptied 4.30 every morning and teenagers shouting on beach until early hours. Wireless not working and when we called owner for assistance, took three days and were told to use community room. Apartment faces another apartment block with only a small view of the sea through a gap with other apartment block, Arrival information was very poor, apartment block name missing (Mesana) and incorrect block number provided (16 not 18). Should have been told not to attempt to park car in garage until gained access to apartment. Concierge nowhere to be found to assist. Otherwise Calp and Beach superb!

    Lovely properly, ideally situated very close to the beach and amenities. Spacious, clean and worked really well for us, staying with a toddler who likes to run around. Alicia was very quick and helpful in her communication. Getting in and checking out were straightforward. Would highly recommend this properly, especially for families.

    Beautiful and new apartment, in an ideal location by the beach/promenade of la Fossa Beach . You have all you need for an enjoyable vacation on the beautiful beach in Calpe. You don´t need a car to go to others beach or town, you can go in a easy walking promenade. The very best for us : clean, new furnitures, Air condition in all the appartment, beach chairs in the swimming pool area and private big terrace in the appartment. Thanks for a great stay in Calpe!

    Our third 4-weeks stay in the Mesana building and once again we were very satisfied to find a clean and proper apartment. Effective description to pick up the keyes and in general super service from Alicia and Jose when needed. Apartment well equipt and not to forget close to Fossa Beach.     Just another perfect stay - great hosts, great location, great apartment. Everything is close (2 beaches, small supermarket, panaderia, restaurants). Big patio is good for kids to play at. Might be noisy at night but that's what you pay for living close to the beach with its bars and discos. Will definitely come back again. Thank you Alicia & Jose!
