IT'S 1972 AND MICK JAGGER JUST ORDERED A TEQUILA SUNRISE.
On June 7, 1972, Bobby Lozoff created the Tequila Sunrise at the Trident Restaurant in Sausalito. Mick Jagger ordered one, loved it, and the Rolling Stones ordered them at every tour stop for the rest of the year. That same summer, this Holiday Rambler was rolling off the line — American-made, built for the open road, groovy as the decade itself.

This fully renovated vintage camper is curated around that moment as partof POV Resort's LIVING HISTORY MUSEUM OF CAMPING — AMERICA'S FIRST. The 1970s brought Earth Day, environmental consciousness, and a generation that fell back in love with the outdoors. Climb in and feel it.

THE SPACE
Recently renovated with an open layout and stunning Northwoods views. A queen bed in the bedroom and a full futon in the living area sleep up to 4. Dining table and chairs for meals, games, and rainy-day fun. No appliances or running water inside. Basic electricity powers lights, phone chargers, laptops, fans, CPAP machines, and other low-draw devices.

OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR
Private firepit, charcoal grill, hammock, picnic table, and Edison string lights. A shared gas grill station with provided tanks is available in the campground (between sites 8 and 9). Wood swings and hammocks throughout the resort. A propane space heater is provided — bring or purchase 1 lb canisters in our self-serve store (one gets you through the night).

BATHHOUSE
Our new air-conditioned restroom trailer has four private bathrooms with sinks, hot showers, and toilets. Deep cleaned twice daily. Water station on the exterior.

ORIENTATION TO GROUNDS

Nature and the deep woods are THE place to be - we are excited to host you at the resort! Coadys' Point of View Lake Resort & Campgrounds is open and following the state's health and safety directive for lodging and camping businesses, working to further ensure your stay is as healthy and as fun as can be! We have purposely kept our campgrounds rustic to minimize disturbing the woods - we took down as few trees as possible to keep the forest intact.

Glamping at POV isn't typical Northwoods seclusion - our campsites are cozy but not as close to each other as an RV park. We feel the amenities on-site and the beauty of the forest and surrounding area more than make up for the snug nature of the campgrounds. With this goal, there isn't enough turnaround for most RVs, travel trailers, and boat trailers in the campgrounds.

The camper itself was great and site was really nice. A nice canopy of trees kept it cool and the lack of ground cover kept the biting bugs to minimum. The dumpsters had a pretty strong stench when walking to the lake. The bathrooms for glamping were what youd expect from a camping experience.... better than some I've been to.

Our stay was great! the Holiday Rambler is a nice neat little 70’s theme RV with a futon and queen bed in it! the plot we had was nice and spacious and had room for everything we brought. I highly recommend staying here and would 1000% do it again, your right off the lake which is only about a 2-3 minute walk from your campsite, they have free use canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards for all guests, you can also rent a fishing boat or pontoon for your stay as well which i thought was awesome! They also have a convenience store with all your basic needs to go camping! If your looking to go somewhere there is eagle river about 10 minutes south and you have the Upper Peninsula of Michigan about 20 minutes north and tons of lakes and parks to check out along side the roads!Thank you Coadys Point Of View Lake Resort and the Staff that was overly awesome and very helpful during our stay! I will definitely be booking again in the fall!
