Luxury Accommodations in Quiet Seaside Village

Location was wonderful! I liked everything about the loft, no dislikes.

Very nice loft and location. Quiet and a perfect place to watch the sunset. Very clean and nicely decorated. Loved being able to take the train into Salem. We were disappointed that there wasn't a grill. The owner thought it had been removed from the listing. Other then that, it was great!

The Loft is a very comfortable apartment-perfect for a couple, spotlessly clean and ideally situated to explore this beautiful area. We always found parking outside the door. We liked sitting on the balcony which is private and quiet, although the neighbouring tree has grown and obscured the view of the cove, but a 5-min walk and you’re there.

The Loft was a delightful place to stay. The locations was fantastic. The only reason we didn't give it a 5 star is because of the basement. We both have mildew allergies so we couldn't use the laundry(washer & dryer) or beach chairs that were down there. Diane was super understanding and brought us some of her beach chairs to use.

Great, central location, very clean, comfortable bed, basic necessities all on hand. Little coffee shop steps away, great baseball backlot games late afternoons.

We enjoyed this property during a July visit. Listing is accurate. The back deck was my favorite feature and I loved having my coffee outside each morning. The location in the heart of Lanesville makes it feel like a resort where you can easily walk to the ocean and play on the stone pier at Lanes Cove. The nearby Cove Cafe serves good coffee and lunch and we became regulars during our trip. We will return!

We immediately felt at home as we walked in to this peaceful, calming, very clean home. We didn’t want to leave. Diane was a fantastic host and communication was great. She provided a lot of nice little touches such as a first aid kit, a night light, paper and pens along with a nicely detailed information guide with helpful recommendations. The location had a small village feel with a cafe a couple of doors down and we enjoyed short walks to both Lanes Cove and Plum Cove. Hope to make it back! Diane, thank you for sharing your beautiful place!

Beautifully decorated, well-equipped with everything we needed. The owner was responsive and provided lots of useful info on the apartment and the surrounding area.Our stay was perfect!

We enjoyed staying here. It was perfect for 2 people. We really enjoyed the convenience of the location, particularly to the wonderful cafe a few doors down!

Enjoyed our time there, easy jumping off point to explore local area and towns nearby. My only very minor issues are that the property pictures should be updated to reflect the current situation. The picture on the back deck leaves the impression you can see the ocean, you cannot, sadly the tree has grown enough to block that view. The other is that wine is part of your welcoming. We had none. Minor issues certainly, otherwise great place!

Quiet and comfortable apartment. Well furnished stocked with everything you could need. Great location… walk to plum cove for a swim and lanes cove for sunsets. A package store for some food items as well as liquor and a bakery a few steps from apartment. We really enjoyed our stay here

Beautiful place, Excellent for two people. Far enough from Gloucester center to be away from the hubbub. Is on a bus line, and taxi service is available, so that you may enjoy Gloucester without having to worry about parking. There is a small cafe that makes incredible sandwiches, pastry, coffee and breakfasts which is a local favorite. A liquor store is also within a minute walk away. There is a local beach that is within a five-minute walk, and as a bonus there are beautiful sunsets to be seen at the beach. The Vrbo has air conditioning but may not be necessary as a nice breeze can be felt if the screened door on the balcony is left open. We loved this place and will return.

We loved the beautiful little Loft Everything was well thought out to maximize use of this small unit. It was conveniently located close to the Cove Cafe where we picked up breakfast pastries and delicious sandwiches for our beach picnics at Plum Cove, Wingaersheek and Long Beach. The Lanesville Package Store was an easy walk to pick up snacks and wine. Walking down the hill to Lanes Cove was wonderful for sunsets and brought back many memories of time spent there during my early summers. This one is a keeper!

This is our 3rd time staying at The Loft. We love it… great location and easy space to live in. We’ll be back! Diane was totally available with answers to questions and accommodating our needs. We loved walking rain to the Harbor for sunsets and kayaking. The quarry is close for a serene place to swim and the best beach is only 15minutes. Couldn’t be better!

Very goos rental as advertised

I grew up in central Ma and live in RI now. I have been all over MA for weekend stays but never made it to the North Shore. This was my favorite vacation by far. The loft was in a great location - a five minute walk to a lovely resident only beach where we spent an afternoon and then stopped again at sunset to see the most beautiful sunset I have seen in ages. The actual accommodations were wonderful. Clean, comfortable and in a very safe area. Dianne the host was great and offered a suggestion for dinner at Tonno which was some of the best seafood we have ever had. We loved the loft and we will definitely be back to visit!!

Love this little gem! Clean, cozy, and quiet location. The bed was so comfy too! Glouster has many wonderful restaurants as mentioned in the binder in the loft. We took the recommendations and visited many. They all were very good! Everyone is so friendly in this town. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Loft. The unit itself was very comfortable and felt like a well-appointed tree house with its view over the trees out back. Parking was very easy and Diana was very responsive whenever we communicated. We found everything we needed and really enjoyed exploring the area from Gloucester to Rockport and Manchester. We hope to be back.

We enjoyed exploring the Cape Ann area.
