Great Property! Great Hosts!

Fun spot to stay! The owner has covered every single detail and then some. There were snacks and drinks upon arrival and the more we looked, the more we found. Sweet thoughtful touches everywhere. Everything was clean. The air was cool and smelled amazing. The linens smelled good as well. The yard space was very well lit at night to enjoy the koi pond and hot tub. (Also well lit to take your furbabies out which we didn’t bring along this stay).The homeowners were very kind, very welcoming, and made us feel right at home. They also provided us with some wonderful suggestions for dinner and drinks. This space has everything and then some.

The bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Did not get a chance to use the hot tub. We were traveling from Florida to Ohio and this was a much better choice than a hotel for our overnight stop.

This is an amazing place to stay and the owners are absolutely amazing! Such a quaint place to stay!

We didn’t stay. Anyone with mobility issues better find another place. My husband almost fell going down to the door and twice when we went back to the car. We never went inside. We had to get a hotel room. My husband had been in the hospital 18 days and had surgery. Even with a walker or a wheelchair the property was inaccessible. We’re on a fixed income. Even after explaining these issues with the host, he refused to refund our money. I realize that is his prerogative. But his lack of compassion when there was nothing in the description advising older people or disabled people tells a lot about his character, in my opinion. Cost prohibited us from enjoying our visit with our daughter.

Not comfortable. Path to studio pretty rocks and flagstone but not really safe especially after dark. Step up to deck to get in suite too high needs added step. Firepit area not in good condition. Room well decorated but not comfortable. Bed and couch uncomfortable.

Property owner had a lot of nice touches on the property. I would stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay. Sitting in the hot tub watching the koi fish was a great way to decompress. If I had to say anything negative my partner walked face first into a rather large spider web by the firepit and it was hilarious!

The property was so beautiful and scenic. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and nice to relax in. The koi fish were so nice pretty and nice to see. Everything was wonderful.

The property was well kept, it had everything we needed, and conveniently located. My wife had passed before this trip and it has given me so much peace in the midst of this chaos. I had an amazing time and the host was pleasant.

This property is exactly as described. Private, serene, the perfect get away after long days. Mike was an excellent host. He was informative, respectful, responsive, and fun to talk to.

The outside was really cute and pretty. The inside was decorated very nicely, and necessities were provided. There was something a little disappointing: there were a lot of flies and gnats that were in the space that took away from our experience. Other than that, the space is well taken care of.

My son and I stayed here for a baseball tournament at Lakepoint. Very affordable option and had everything we needed and more. Very clean and quiet. We will stay here again!

Place smelled like dogs bed and couch was not comfortable at all and couldn’t rest or watch tv for the people walking around upstairs and listening to music and laughing and yelling in the garage

Amazing hot tub in a quiet neighborhood

we stayed here for one night and it was awesome! the hot tub is really nice and the whole place was great!

The location is nice, the backyard is very pretty, and the inside looked like it was cleaned well. Unfortunately, the unit smelled horrible the whole time we were there. It smelled like something had soured or mildewed. We could not figure out where the smell was coming from and the host did not offer to come find the smell or do anything other than give us a bottle of febreeze (and did not give us any credit for the trip for staying in the smell). Additionally, the unit is underneath the main house and behind the garage. While this wasn't a huge deal, we definitely heard the hosts walking around upstairs or working in the garage (I heard them at midnight one night). The thermostat is in the main house so you don't have direct control over the temperature (though they said they turned it down when we asked). Due to the smell and the non-existent effort of the host to address the situation (thanks for letting us know, we'll check it out when you leave), we would not stay here again.

This space is great for a partner get away. If you want to quickly get to hiking paths at Red top mountain and to the lakes, this home basement with Koi pond and hottub is a great relaxation space after being in nature all day. We brought all our food and enjoyed the fridge and microwave. TV space is cozy, bed is OK and the space was clean. The chlorin of the Hottub was strong in smell initially also in the living space. We appreciated knowing it was clean and serviced and once we left he window open for a while the smell dissipated. We would come back. Liked the privacy (although a basement space) of the backyard and the use of hot tub and koipond sitting area. Well thought out and practical...

I was very stressed and needed some R&R. Chose this over a hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Enjoyed the central air, hot tub and bathtub. Pictures need updating..

This is the basement of a home, but it was quite nice. The atmosphere was pleasant other than a couple of issues with the owner. He listed that deliveries were not a problem as long as we had them delivered downstairs but then got on to us when we doordashed something. He almost made me feel as though it were something racial b/c he made the comment to my bf (black) that he didn’t want anyone getting shot. He also wanted an explanation as to why we had 2 cars even though we only parked the one in front of his house. He said he didn’t like a lot of new unfamiliar people coming and going from his house but we only had the 2 of us and 1 doordash driver 1 time. The bedframe was loose and mattress was hard but the hot tub, fireplace,

I love the room and getting know the host in person, bed was comfortable, the outside was relaxing, the hot tub was amazing, overall great place to stay at.
