Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania
This two bedroom unit features an open floor plan, tons of space to relax and hang out, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, smart tv, huge covered deck, central heating and air conditioning, and personal touches with photographic canvases of local scenes taken by the owner, and pottery from local potter Frank Stofan. There is plenty of off-street parking - enough for multiple vehicles, a boat, a trailer, or whatever else you might need to park. Come enjoy your home away from home!
We loved the house. Bad everything we needed
Place was clean and peaceful nice porch with privacey in the back of the motel will be back there again
This is a fantastic property for any size family to stay! Open floor plan, new, super clean and the property owner/manager took great care and attention to detail! We highly recommend this location! It was quiet, great price, close to the lake and all the amenities that Conneaut Lake had to offer. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!! Patty and Bob K
We really enjoyed our stay. The back porch was relaxing in the evenings, we enjoyed walking our dogs along the back grass area, and viewing wildlife. The interior was roomy and comfortable.
I would give 10 stars if I could! The place is spacious and clean with plenty of quality supplies in the kitchen/bathroom. The property manager, William, learned we were arriving at about 0200 and offered to have the futons opened and placed linens on them. We enjoyed the deck in the evening, listening to the frogs sing. Be warned, they get louder when you turn your own music up ;-). Everything was as advertised and then some. We were just looking for a clean place to sleep for a good price but got so much more. When William found a pillow my son left, he immediately sent a text and left it for a family member to pick up from the deck. There is not much in the area but we were heading to Erie daily to visit family. This is faaaar better than any expensive hotel. We have already shared this place with family as a great option for visitors.
The property was clean and we had 2 chihuahuas with us. Very quiet place to stay. lots of sites to see like the spillway, marinas and lots of places to eat. We were very happy would go again.
One often doesn’t get to be overly impressed nowadays , but this 2 bedroom gem made my weekend ! it actually looked and felt like a 5 star luxury hotel suite. great job whoever planned and decorated this wonderful space. Don’t let the outside appearance of the building fool you : This is a great option for anyone looking for a safe, comfortable place: I used it as home base for a fishing trip at nearby Pymatuning. (only 10 minutes away). Can’t say enough good things about this vrbo property . loved it !
Superb
We loved it! Comfortable, pleasant, and set up for us when we arrived.
After some miscommunication between the owner and the property manager, things turned out well. The owner was VERY quick to rectify the situation. I would suggest that future stays confirm your reservation with the owner and make sure the property manager is aware of your stay. Now for the great - the apartment is LOVELY! Everything was as pictured and very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable and there is plenty of extra bedding and blankets for the futon beds (which were also very comfortable). We enjoyed the view out the back onto the fields and even saw a bunny enjoying his breakfast one morning. If you're looking for a comfortable stay near Allegheny College, this is the one!
Absolutely wonderful place. My first view through the doorway amazed me - it's so SPACIOUS! Very clean and comfortable. Huge covered porch makes it handicap accessible to the apartment. This was my first time renting a VRBO and I found it to be a wonderful, relaxing experience.
We had rented the property for an overnight girls night for our family. We were welcoming our soon to be daughter-in-law into our family two weeks prior to her wedding. Unfortunately, there was a horrible wind storm and we lost power. We were unable to find flashlights or candles at the rental. We attempted to get in touch with the local number that we were given, but there was no answer when we called and it was four hours later before we got a reply to our message with an apology, saying that he was sleeping,. The host, however, replied immediately when messaged online. We were thankful for his prompt reply, but he did not have knowledge of any supplies at the rental for us that would help. He let us know the power company’s name but we could not determine when the electric would come back on. We were thankful for his prompt replies. We tried a Walmart that was 15 minutes away to see if they had power, but could not get an answer and assumed they didn’t. Since there was no heat and no light, and no idea if it would be restored in the foreseeable future, we packed up and left and drove back to Pittsburgh. We ended up still staying together at one of our houses, but it was certainly not what we had planned! There is no way that the wind storm could’ve been predicted or the power outage, but our suggestion would be for the host to place some candles, and a lighter and a flashlight at the rental, in case it would happen again in the future!
Just what we were looking for. We were coming to the area for some snow tubing and a quiet family weekend. This open concept place was very clean and pictures were accurate. Full kitchen and everything you need. Very nice layout. Beds were comfortable and kids said couch futons were also very comfortable. There were plenty of blankets and the Coffee bar was cute and appreciated. We also enjoyed the homemade pottery throughout the unit along with local art. Outside is very deceiving, but this is a hidden gem. In warmer months there is a beautiful attached/covered porch. Caretaker was in touch when needed. We would rent this place again.
Comfortable and spacious. As pristine as the pictures show.
The accomodation was immaculate and well laid out. Coffee bar was a nice touch.
My family and I went for the weekend to take the grandkids to see the tractor parade in Linesville, the Ice House Festival, and take a nighttime cruise on the Barbara J. The apartment was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed when traveling. It was very roomy and super clean. There were 5 adults and 2 kids and we had room for more. It was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed plus some. It was close to town and all attractions. The price was definitely a bonus. I would stay there again when visiting.
We had a fantastic 2-day stay over Thanksgiving 2022. Our son was working on a research project at Allegheny College and was unable to come home for Thanksgiving, so we wanted to bring Thanksgiving to him. Four of us stayed at this property, and were delighted to find that the interior of the apartment was just as lovely as all the interior pictures online showed. Don't be fooled by the outside, which is unimpressive - once you open the door, you are in a lovely well-appointed space! The kitchen, not surprisingly for our purpose, was a major draw, and it was perfect for us. The whole place has a lovely open floor plan, with the entryway morphing into the dining area, then kitchen, then living room area, with the two bedrooms off to one side and a bathroom tucked into the corner. One of our party was wheelchair bound, so we'd purposely chosen a place that was on the first floor, but we were delighted to find a handicap ramp onto the deck area beside the house, which had a side door allowing him easy access in and out of the apartment. For anyone associated with Allegheny College (only about 15 minutes away) or looking for easy access to Conneaut Lake (minutes away), this is a great 2-bedroom option. There are not many hotels in the area, and this place offers not only a place to stay but a lovely kitchen and dining area. The owner and caretaker (?) were both very responsive to questions and concerns via the VRBO site. Access was granted via a door code, so we didn't have to worry about picking up keys when we were arriving late. All in all, we had a great stay, loved the place, and were very appreciative to have the opportunity to have our Thanksgiving there.
