Over all, the property is very good but has one issue, one of the bathroom shower don't work.

The location of the apartment is convenient in some aspects because it’s right at the end of rainbow road so there’s plenty of restaurants choices and shopping nearby. The main area of the apartment was nice, clean and open. But, there were several cons that if I had been aware of, I would have chosen another place to stay: Apartment is on the third floor and there’s no elevator. We had 3 elderly people traveling with us, which made this nearly impossible; there is no parking - we needed to park and pay about 1/2 mile away; there was a washer but no dryer; one of the showers does not have a lip so the water pours out all over the floor when showering; several of the windows were broken and unable to be opened which made for a very warm 3rd story apartment during the summer; because the apartment is right at the end of rainbow street, there is a lot of commotion, yelling, drunk people right outside which did not really quiet down until almost 3:30 AM.

Absolutely fantastic apartment! Granted you have to climb 3 flights of stairs and the lads over the weekend were loud (but happy loud). Its central location is so convenient. If you are sensitive to outside noise, bring ear plugs and/or a noise machine. Part of the experience!!!!! Highly recommend and will definitely stay there again!

Had difficulty walking up 3 floor with luggage. The staircase covered with filthy and torn carpeting. The appt. Is big, good mattresses. Otherwise, only one bathroom was usable as the shower water spilled all over, several lights were flickering, almost no reading lamps by the beds . No basic supplies e.g. sugar. Only filter coffee machine. In general, a far cry from the luxury as advertised , little thought given to the guests’ comfort ( this being said by the owner of a rental house in France…)

Great Location, property manager easy to work with and readily available.

Just stayed here for a week and it was overall very enjoyable! The location was very central to all the tourist attractions in Reykjavik which made it very easy to walk or e-scooter anywhere we wanted to go. The apartment was very clean and the amenities were sufficient, though a clothes dryer would have been nice to have. There were a lot of stairs leading to the penthouse and the stairwell was hot and had an odd smell but once inside, everything was fine.

We are so happy we selected this property, 5 stars all around! The location couldn't have been better, right on rainbow street near all the shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Since we were right where all the action is, it could be a little loud late into the night on the weekend but we had ear plugs so it wasn't an issue. We also had a great experience with the property managers and the cleaning staff. I had reached out to the property managers through the chat feature multiple times prior to the trip and they were always quick to respond and provide helpful recommendations. While we were there, they also helped with quick response times when we had questions about check-in and check-out. We also were lucky enough to interact with the woman cleaning the apartments both when we arrived and when leaving, as she was cleaning the other units in the building. She went out of her way to help us find a taxi when she could have easily said she was busy or didn't know. The apartment was clean and as described. The only negative is if you aren't able to easily climb stairs, there is no elevator. Our group did not have a problem with this but if you aren't able to carry all of your luggage up three flights of stairs, take that into consideration. We highly recommend this apartment and Iceland in general!!

I would recommend this apartment to any group travelling to Iceland. The location is perfect. You are right on rainbow road within walking distance to shops, restaurants, bus stops, taxis, and the harbor. If you want to see as much as possible in the capital city - you need to be at this location. Too many of the hotels are not within walking distance of the main city streets. Bring earplugs as the street below is very loud all night. The penthouse apartment is on the top floor which requires three intense flights of stairs. The stairs were exhausting for our group of agile travelers but it was worth it each day. I do not recommend this apartment for anyone with mobility issues as it would be very difficult to go up and down the stairs + bringing luggage up and down the stairs. The penthouse apartment was as pictured - 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious kitchen and living area. We had 6 guests stay in the unit and we all had plenty of room. The main bathroom is spacious with a window with the second bathroom being a wet-bath. Make sure you reach out to the host 10 days prior to arrival to confirm you received check-in information. We did not receive the information which made check-in stressful. However once we were in the unit all was well. You only receive one set of keys for the unit. When scheduling any excursions choose bus stop 3 or 6 as those will be closest to this unit. I would stay here again.

Large place in the heart of the shopping district of Reykjavik. This property has significant space for larger parties.

Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment. Here are the pros: * It had four good-sized bedrooms and two bathrooms, a nice kitchen , a big table with lots of seats, a TV/sitting area, and beautiful views! * The beds were comfortable with good mattresses and nice linens. * There is a washer but no dryer. However, there is a closet with a drying rack that was very warm. Our clothes dried super fast overnight. * The biggest plus of this apartment is the location, which is at the end of the rainbow street surrounded by tons of restaurants, shops, bars, and markets. It was within easy walking distance of all the major sites, as well as Bus Stop #3, which is on a pretty major street (can't remember the street name but the Hard Rock Cafe is on it). We took several tours that picked us up at that bus stop. There's also a taxi stand across from the Hard Rock. And here are a few things, not so much cons, but that I think would be helpful to know: * There is no elevator so you need to be prepared to take three flights of stairs up to the apartment. * No cars are allowed on the street where the apartment is; if you're being dropped off, it has to be on a nearby street. It is still very close, but just something to be aware of. * It was a little hard to take a shower in the smaller bathroom as the shower is in the corner and there is no berm so water seeped over the floor. We very much enjoyed our stay and loved Iceland so much! We plan to go back and would rent this apartment again!

We had a great time in Reykjavik. The flat was centrally located, walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be returning.

The apartment is at one end of the rainbow street so is surrounded by restaurants and bars. The two nights that we stayed there happened to be Friday and Saturday, and right across the street was probably the loudest bar in the entire area, so the music that we could hear clearly from the bedrooms did not stop until about 4AM. Another thing that we did not realize until we were at the apartment was that the building does have an elevator. So the apartment may not be ideal for elderly or small kids. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay.
