This was our second stay with Sandra and we had a wonderful experience! Her place is always clean, comfortable and convenient to anything we wanted to do. She’s super communicative and readily available if needed. Definitely stay here is you want the best of Nags Head and OBX! We will definitely be back!

Perfect place to spend some blustery fall weather at the beach. Totally everything you need to hunker down and be comfy. Add your own groceries or take out and enjoy the sweet comfort of this lovely place. I love visiting the coast in the off season but I can see this place would be ideal for all seasons in Nags Head. Sandra is an amazing host!! She is excellent with communicating, very quick to respond and eager to help and answer questions. The place was adorable. We enjoyed grilling on the private back patio and riding the bikes around the neighborhood and to the beach. The location was close to everything and easy to navigate. I would definitely recommend Sandra and her property to anyone interested in visiting the area.

Sandra was extremely welcoming and her home was a perfect stay for my fiancé and I! “The Backyard” is perfectly located, tucked back in a quiet neighborhood with easy walking around the sound side of the island. Sandra was very communicative and had great recommendations of things to do because she’s lived in the OBX for 30 years and knows her stuff! The house was perfect sized and had everything we needed including beach chairs, an umbrella, and bikes! We’ll definitely be looking for this listing for future stays!

Our vrbo was awesome! Great area, close to the ocean. Our host was very friendly. The only problem was with hurricane Erin and we left a few days early. Otherwise, we had an amazing time and we enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I were absolutely enchanted by our stay in the 'Back Yard'. The entrance to the rental sparkled with magic and warmth each evening! We were grateful for the bikes, beach chairs, cooler, and umbrella at our disposal. This 'home away from home' exuded coziness, creativity, and care, with every essential thoughtfully provided. A quaint beach and community center located nearby, was inviting for us to stroll or bike and bask in the breathtaking sunsets that filled our hearts with joy!

Visit to see Lost Colony Play and enjoy Nags Head. Cottage was charming and filled with art. Location was perfect.

This has to be Outer Banks best kept secret! I feel so blessed to have discovered it. What a charming little place, yet so spacious and tastefully decorated! Very comfortable living, dining and sleeping space, with all the amenities of home. Sandra simply thought of everything! We were just minutes from the beach access, and nearly everything we wanted to do was in short time distance. She even provides bikes, beach chairs and coolers if needed. Grill and patio if you like to cook out. We truly enjoyed our stay, and if she will have us, will likely come back next year!Brent and Serena Diehl

Decided to stay here on my first trip to the Outer Banks with my girlfriend. The place was super cute and cozy and Sandra was a communicative and helpful host with some great recommendations for places nearby. The location was very close to the beach and it was a very nice area. Would recommend!

The cute little cottage was perfect for us, we had plenty of space and a great backyard to view ( it rained so we didn’t spend time outside on the patio or backyard). But we made the best of it and enjoyed exploring.

Quite getaway, awesome spot....

Our first time in the OBX. We enjoyed our peaceful stay in your clean, spacious, and comfortable cottage. It felt as if we had the whole house and amenities to ourselves.

Wonderful place to stay for our short get away!

Sandra's apartment was all my husband and i needed to enjoy all that the Outer Banks has to offer. The location is perfect for getting around to all the major sights in the area. Having access to the community pool for $6/ person was a nice respite from the extreme heat one day, and being able to ride the provided bikes there was an added bonus. The apartment itself was cozy and we enjoyed the decor. Very clean. Sandra was a great host.
