Stayed Dec 31, 1969This lovely little apartment is in a great location with easy access to the island's fabulous and cheap public transport system (although you can walk into town as well if you are at least reasonably fit). There are plenty of great bars, shops and restaurants to choose from within a few minutes walk too. We loved the sea views from the 3 (!) balconies. The flat was impeccably clean on arrival and there were some pleasant little welcome gifts to enjoy, which was a nice surprise from a letting company! It was a good size for the 4 adults in our group and we never felt cramped. The flat lacked mirrors in the bedroom.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Apartment was clean, bright, freshly painted and very comfortable. Rooms were all of a great size. Location was great. Very central to restaurants and shops - a lovely walk into central Funchal and the old town - or regular bus service for those less active. We loved our stay. Will return. Generally it was great. The bathroom though clean was a bit musty/damp smell. We already mentioned the issue with the balcony doors locking if you closed them from outside, which means you could get locked out.
