Lido Key Hide-Away for Two

We got this room for our adult children to stay in and they absolutely loved it! Very nice and clean. Private courtyard with a grill and table was a bonus!

We didn't like that the air conditioner, no matter what the setting, always blew right on us in bed. But we loved being so close to the beach.

Good location

It was a great location and the hosts provided thoughtful items to make our stay better.

Place was a bit tight in size, but clean, extremely convenient and in great shape. The owner was also very responsive, and we thank them for a wonderful stay.

It was a perfect hideaway for my wife and I. We got to sleep in, enjoy morning coffee on the front patio, walk to the beach, and enjoy the restuarants of St. Armands Square. The neighborhood was very quite and peaceful. We never had to use our car after we arrived. Definitely coming back. The kitchen is well equipted and you can prepare any meal. The room had everything you will need. There was a beach cart for us to use, that carried available chairs and an umbrella. It was perfect for carrying everthing else we needed for the beach. We did not get to use the available bicycles, so we have something to look forward to on our next stay.

I don't know who has been giving this such high ratings, as I give it a 3.0. The important items are fine like a great location, it was very clean, and very quiet. BUT, it is so small that there is no place to sit other than on the bed or a couple of wooden chairs, it is too small for a couch. Everything was very tired with no significant money having been invested in at least 20 years. As examples, even small things like the kitchen towels looked dirty but were just plain old or the bikes had rust on them as did the shower curtain hooks. How about some fresh curtains, or a new bed spread, and some fresh paint to brighten the place? I liked the small kitchen but just too small and tired for the price.

Host welcomed us and made themselves available. They offered a fully equipped kitchen. Clean bathroom. Nice outdoor patio. We had a great week! Hope to return next year.

We are already looking to come back! The cottage was exactly as it is listed. It was cozy and had everything you would need during your stay. The owners brought out a heater and extra covers when the temperature dropped. Very nice and safe area. Being able to walk to the beach was a bonus!

We had a wonderful relaxing stay. Hosts Camille and Lou were welcoming and accommodating to all our needs. The apartment was adorable, fully stocked and only a very short walk to beautiful Lido Beach. Would love to return again.

Great little property. Perfect for a couple. The hosts provided great communication and details. We also really loved the little backyard. The little electric torches around the patio were a nice touch. It is a perfect location. One block away from Lido Beach and about a 10-minute walk to St. Armand circle. It was clean, quiet and has everything you need for a nice getaway including a full kitchen. We will definitely consider returning when we come back to the area.
