Leoni House Verona, elegant apartment in the historical center

Overall excellent experience! Kitchen and bathroom were spotless, all utensils, towels and supplies were provided! Host was very attentive and provided immediate responses! All recommended sites/restaurants were top-notch. Highly recommended!!!!!

What a wonderful place! Super convenient to everything in town and beautiful views. Bonus was a little workout up the stairs!

Oriane was so helpful at every stage of our holiday. The apartment is tastefully decorated, very well equipped and very clean. It is within easy reach of Verona’s many attractions. Oriane kindly provided welcome drinks and useful kitchen essentials e.g oil, condiments etc. We were very comfortable throughout the week and she organised a taxi for our departure. All in all an excellent stay with amazing views. Be aware that you need to be fit enough to climb stairs up to a roof apartment.

I was met at the door when I arrived and was helped with my luggage.Everything explained to me in detail Place was very clean and well equipped .Located right on the river with a fabulous roof top terrace over looking the river and Verona.Great location with fresh food market , coffee shop and eatery’s just steps away.Would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

We loved our stay here in this gorgeous place that was so big and roomy. The private rooftop balcony/ terrace looking over the river and toward the castle was stunning! It was the most perfect location to be in to walk anywhere and also having café Duche below us for coffee and sweets in the morning. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place

The apartment is in a great location, close to all of the sites, restaurants and shopping. It is still in the historical area but just far away from the congested city center. The apartment is very well equipped with quality appliances and furnishings. The bed is very comfortable. We loved winding down our day on the terrace and enjoying the amazing views. Beware, to get the view you will have to climb 62 steps to get to it he third floor apartment ( what we in the US would consider the 4th floor) but a good excuse to eat more pasta and pasties,

This is an absolute gem of a property - well-appointed and well-positioned. Superbly located close to the heart of the old city, it is a great base for exploring Verona and the Veneto, plus the rooftop balcony offers a fantastic 360* view. We stayed during a hot week in June/July but the air conditioning was more than up to the task. The closeness of a busy thoroughfare was a surprising bonus - being up 3 flights of stairs meant it was actually really quiet, especially in the evening, and you have the regular and reliable bus service on your doorstep. (Note - the stairs and steps up to the balcony would not be suitable for those with mobility issues). We had a wonderful stay and hope to return again very soon.

From the start when I was met from the taxi outside the apartment my stay was comfortable and a delight. Oriana was helpful in contact before I arrived and whilst there. Even booking a taxi for my return to the airport. The apartment is exactly as described and in a very convenient part of Verona. Several buses stop right outside and connect with the train station. Handy as I did lots of travel to the surrounding area. Trains are cheap and punctual. The surrounding area to the apartment felt safe especially for a single older lady. I was provided with tips on where to eat and the local supermarket was perfect for buying some essential groceries. Lots of places nearby for food. Easy to walk around Verona from here and see all the sights. I would highly recommend this as a base in the area. Perfect stay.

This is a very comfortable spacious space with a very special rooftop terrace. The apartment has everything you need to live as a resident. There is a great coffee bar downstairs, a vegetable and fruit stand steps away and lots of close by food establishments including a choice of grocery stores. You are steps away from Roman ruins and a very short walk away from all of the major sites including the Piazza Erbe and the Arena. The magnificent San Fermo church is directly across the street and the alleged Juliet's house is close by as are numerous retail establishments. The host and manager are very friendly and accommodating. They will help you carry your luggage up and down (the apartment is a 3 story walk up). The apartment is also supplied with thoughtful basic necessities like soap, shampoo and conditioner, salt, pepper, oil, coffee, etc. as well as coke and beer. The only negative I can think of is that living in this apartment is a challenge for those of us who are over 6 feet tall. In the picture, the big log beams are pretty obvious and were not a problem for me (around 6'2). A perpendicular beam at about 5'9 of height in the living room with another in the middle of the bathroom were more challenging for me. It was easy to straighten up after avoiding the log beams and hit those. Even so, if we have another extended stay in Verona I likely will select this apartment again.

I fully enjoyed my stay in Verona-more than I thought I would. Neighborhood was completely safe. There’s a lovely cafe directly below the apartment. The only thing I would say can be a concern is if you or another traveler staying in the apartment have trouble with stairs… the apartment is on the fourth floor, the stairs are marble. My favorite part of the apartment was the rooftop! Lovely view of the city. Short walk to Juliet’s house. This apartment is perfect for a solo person or couple.
