Palazzo Le Cupole is is a stately building including 4 apartments, located in the heart of Ostuni's historic center, in a characteristic square overlooked by the city's Cathedral.

The apartment, located on the first floor reachable by a staircase (about 15 steps), opens onto the living area with a well-equipped open-plan kitchen, a dining table, a double sofa bed, and a TV. The sleeping area, on the other hand, consists of two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twosingle beds. A bathroom with shower, accessible from both rooms, completes the layout.

The apartment benefits from two balconies overlooking the splendid Ostuni Cathedral, located next to the apartment: from here it is possible to admire the splendid panorama, in particular the facade of the right aisle and its rose window.

*Due to its location, the apartment is not very suitable for those looking for relaxation, but it's great for nightlife lovers! Given that the accommodation is located in a lively area, the presence of nearby pubs and nightlife spots may result in some noise during the evening and nighttime hours.

*The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the parkings outside of the city centre and enjoying the old town on foot.

*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.

Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Itria Valley. Its blindingly white, immense historic center culminates in the Cathedral (600 meters from the apartment) that soars over the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a crystal-clear sea. Characteristic are its narrow streets, the Piazza della Libertà (5 minutes away) and the column of St. Oronzo that majestically protects the town.

Its countryside stretches into the heart of the Itria Valley. A few kilometers away is Ceglie Messapica, a center of tradition and enogastronomy; Cisternino, a village recognized as one of the most beautiful in Italy; and Alberobello, whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Archaeological Park of Egnatia, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic center and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while proceeding south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westward there is Taranto, heart of Magna Graecia, and finally to Matera, characteristic for its sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019.

Brindisi (30 minutes) and Bari (60 minutes) are the closest airports to Ostuni.

Upon arrival the bathroom stank. Next day we contacted the manager’ explained the problem which they resolved the same day while we were out exploring the nearby towns. However, the workers left a mess of water which trailed from the bathroom through one of the bedrooms and into a closet where the boiler and other things are found. Also, we no longer had hot water and it was 10:00 pm. Again we contacted the manager via text about the new problem and received a generic message saying they were down for the evening and would contact us the next day. Their site shows that we would receive assistance after 9:00 am the next day. Therefore, we were forced to have very cold showers before going to bed.Next morning we contacted them again, their response was for us to fiddle with the boiler which we were not comfortable doing. We begged them to please send someone to help. Upon our return that afternoon at 5:30 pm we realized that no one had come to fix the problem, so we contacted them again. This time we included a video of how the boiler was blinking and how it was not responding to a reset. Again, we kindly asked for someone to come fix the problem. After that we never heard from them again and we had to take cold showers for the second time. We left the next morning. Beyond that, the place is quite old and located above a bar with loud music, one of the 3 beds was terrible to sleep on as were some pillows. The towels were nice. I do not recommend this place
