Saint Louis, Missouri
We can't let you stay here without telling you that this building used to be one of the greatest hotels in all of St. Louis back in the 1920's!
Now with plenty of touches of modern amenities and sophisticated living, this once roaring 20's hotel, now boasts one of the premiere locations in St Louis for modern-day living!
Whole Foods Grocery, Barnes Jewish Hospital, Forest Park, and SEVERAL amazing food places are all within walking distance, if not just right outside your door!
This former hotel was redesigned for the modern day professional. Each unit boasts historic wood floors, premium counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, and so much more!
In addition to being fully furnished with designer pieces, your personal comfort was taken in to consideration. From the sheet thread count to the different types of plush and firm pillows, no corners were cut to take away from your enjoyment during your stay!
Did we forget to mention you can come home to a personal massage chair !
You'll also notice a quality work-from-home station for your convenience!
Property is an old building which has been converted into apts. Location was excellent. Amazing how photography can make things look unlike they really are. It was very like living in a dorm. No lamps or lighting appropriate for reading, only overhead lights with some have lightbulbs that did not work. Water pressures was non existent. Had to fill a pan with water and heat to have enough water to do dishes. Shower took forever to rinse out shampoo. Towels were ratty and old, 2 ea of wash cloths, hand towels etc for 2 people for two weeks. Check in directions provided were inaccurate, parking gate procedure was incorrect and the apt managers, only ones available helped but took a day to access the premises parking. Spoke with the resident owner rep regarding H2O issues and he related he had put in a work order, but never heard anything back. This was my first time to use VRBO and.doubt will ever do it again.
Comfortable condo, close to good restaurants and antique stores.
The apartment was exactly as pictured and the location was within 5 minutes walking distance to BJH. This was perfect for my husband, while I was in the hospital and for me after I was discharged, we stayed 8 days. The building is secure, clean and quiet!
Clean well appointed property with good security
Just one item really that I would like to have been communicated better. The private parking lot was not identified with the paperwork in the room. All the info was there less where the lot actually was in relation to the building. It was not hard to figure out but the sign was slightly obscured by the tree in front of it. Everything else was like it appeared it would be by the picture upon rental. Thanks again.
My Daughter and I stayed for 10 days. Nice area, close to Barnes we walked to most of our appointments, great food in the area. Apartment was spacious and clean. Was amazing to have private parking.
This is the perfect location for a short or long stay. We stayed for 10 days and we really enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean, modern and had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was really comfortable and it was very convenient to have a washer and dryer in the property too. The management was quick to respond and fix an issue we had with the dishwasher. The included parking spot was also very convenient and we didn't have to worry about paying for parking. Overall, we would definitely stay here again the next time we visit St. Louis.
This was the perfect base for our two week visit. Near Forest Park, restaurants and a Whole Foods across the street. A lovely one bedroom apartment in a quiet and secure building with a gated parking lot. We’ll be back!
If you are looking for a perfect place for 1 or 2 adults, look no further. Located centrally and in a great neighborhood with good restaurants and a whole foods! I will always stay here when I visit St.Louis!
