ADDITIONAL RULES:
*As per the Short Term Legislation Act 2020 NSW, all guests are required to obey these rules. For extra guests/day visitors, we must be informed for liability purposes.

*To comply with local regulations, all guests are kindly asked to review and accept our booking Terms and Conditions in the Pre-arrival check-in form. For everyone’s security and peace of mind, we also require a valid ID and card details for a temporary pre-authorisation, which is held as a security deposit for the duration of your stay.

*This is a no-party property. We do not allow parties/events of any sort. The maximum amount of guests allowed to sleep in this property is FOUR people, however, we do allow day visitors of up to TWO people. No more than a maximum of SIX people are allowed in the property at any given time.

*Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission.

*This home is a strictly no-smoking property. If any of our cleaners find any form of cigarette ash, butts or smell cigarettes in the apartment, we could issue a $500 fine.

*This is a domestic residence and we love our neighbours. We do not allow loitering out the front of the building or in the common areas. Please respect our home and neighbours. We ask for minimal noise in the common areas, especially after 9 pm.

*STRA Rules - By booking this home you automatically agree to all the STRA terms and conditions that are applicable to guests. You also agree that if you do break any of the house rules you will be asked to leave and no refund of the unused nightly rates will be returned.

*Check-in/Check-out - We cannot stress enough the importance of checking out on time. Our regular check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out time is before to 10 am. If you wish to have an earlier check-in or later check-out, please reach out to us first. Please note, there may be a charge.

*Changing of Dates Terms & Conditions
- Requests to change booking dates may only be accommodated if check-in is more than 1 month away.
- This is subject to approval and we reserve the right to decline any requests.
- Please note that there may be a surcharge to change the dates.
- Any changes to bookings are subject to approval and we ask all guests to reach out to us first.

THINGS TO KNOW:

*The stairs inside the apartment are very narrow & steep and may be unsuitable for children or differently-abled people

*Check-in details will be sent either the night before checking in, or the morning of check-in for security reasons.

* We only provide 1 set of keys for each stay. We do not have extra sets.

*Please note that there is construction work ongoing next door as well as the whole of Kirribilli and there may be some noise from Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm. There is also Remedial works to façade and concrete spalling on our building which will go on for 3 weeks from Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm and Saturdays 8am - 3pm. We advise to keep doors and windows closed during the period of works to minimise the spread of dust.

    The place was clean and had the necessary amenities. The only issue was the spiral staircase to the bedrooms did not make it accessible to get suitcases downstairs. But this was a minor inconvenience as everything else was fantastic

    The geographical location of the flat is perfect- handy for ferries and Kirribilli community. The property was reasonably clean (had to wash all pots and pans before use) and reasonably well equipped. However there is a huge demolition project of an entire block of flats going on immediately outside the property. The noise from jackhammer drills was so loud It was impossible to be inside the property we rented from 6.30am to 5pm daily. We couldn’t hear ourselves think it was so bad. The dust and pollution from the drilling clouds over anything put outside. We’re fairly easy going but this was truly intolerable. Thank goodness we didn’t have children with us. Also the downstairs air conditioner doesn’t work and looks like it hadn’t done so for some time. There were fans but we booked specifically because it said it was an air conditioned apartment and it isn’t.

    Nice location and appartment. Marred by overly complicated and unnecessary checking in from Stayz and the place itself not being very clean and in need of a refurb and some extraction sorting out. Smelly damp downstairs (and a pathetic bathroom extractor) and no extraction in the upstairs bathroom at all. One set of keys is ridiculous. No curtains or blind on one winding the master bedroom. An old painting is used! A few nice touches though, all the stuff you need in the kitchen. Soap and shampoo in bathroom. Some beers in the fridge. Great views and location is good.

    The apartment is in a great location in Kirribilli, within walking distance of the train that goes across the Harbour Bridge (15 min walk) and the ferry to Circular Quay (5 min walk) - or just walk across the bridge to the Rocks and CBD (30-40 min walk). The view from the apartment is of the bridge and Opera House and is stunning, especially if you go down the hill to the side and rear of the house to a little wharf. Kirribilli has lots of convenient shops and food places including an excellent Thai, Indian and sandwich shop. The apartment itself is well equipped, comfortable and air-conditioned, with a decent kitchen, and a sizeable living room/dining area. Two bedrooms are downstairs - here's the only snag: downstairs is via an iron spiral staircase which is steep and narrow. If you are physically challenged, this may prove too much, and it's surprising how many times you'll need to do the 'journey'. Don't try to take big cases down those stairs - better to use the steps at the side of the house and go through the gate from the street; quite a few steps but so much easier than the spiral stairs. One bathroom is downstairs with an excellent shower, toilet and small sink; the other is upstairs, with a washer/dryer (which takes forever to wash/dry, but is handy) and a decent shower, and toilet. As the bedrooms are downstairs, one of them can get a little noisy due to the footsteps of the neighbours, but the beds were comfortable and the rooms were big enough. There's also a living room area downstairs with couch and TV. All in all, a showcase accommodation; not cheap, but given the location, views and locale, definitely recommended, and Getawayz was great in communicating with us - entry codes, property info, etc. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time in Sydney, enhanced by the property we stayed in.

    Really enjoyed staying in this apartment during our visit to Sydney to visit family. Lovely view of the harbour and the Opera House, comfortable beds and well equiped kitchen. Short walk to Kirribilli village for coffee, supplies, the train and ferry. There are two sofa beds and extra linen available which was super convenient, so that our daughters didn't have to share a double bed. My only suggestion would be to provide a few extra towels, tea towels and perhaps a blanket or two as we got a bit cold in the evening. The stairs to the lower level are a little narrow so might be challenging for some guests. Otherwise we would highly recommend and will definitely stay again when we are back in Sydney.
