Stayed Jul 1, 2025The beds were comfortable but we needed more blankets! A few times the water in the shower was unstable and would quickly move from very hot to cold and was a little frustrating. The view of the lake and the beautiful trees around were quite pleasant. It was nice to have a bonfire provided nearby and if we had more time we wanted to kayak on the lake with the lone duck. There was not room to fit all of the trash so we had to bring one bag with us to dump somewhere else. Make sure you're aware that the bathroom is across the wooden deck and not attached to the cabin. Finally, there's a lot of light that sneaks in on summer nights as 2 of the 4 windows weren't black outs! Overall everything was quaint and very Alaskan, beautiful and felt safe.

Stayed Jun 20, 2025Cabin was small but had everything we needed. Had a 100lb dog with us and she had no issues. Everyone was friendly and even though they were improving the property made sure if anything was too noisy or if we had an issue they would stop and make sure our stay was perfect.
